I have been going to the Hungry Pelican for over 20 years and it it one of the best values on seafood anywhere, the Cod is huge and flaky, onion rings are delicious and the Coleslaw is awesome! Definitely worth a trip!

Not what it used to be. I ordered fish, fries, onion rings, fried zucchini and slaw. My wife and I were very disappointed. We used to eat at Hungry Pelican frequently in the past. Perhaps they got a new cook. We don't plan on eating there again. We will probably go back to Clarksville Seafood down the street when we... More

Service was slowish, but totally worth the wait. Food was hot, fresh, very tasty. Homefries and fried corn on the cob very, very good- fish, both the broiled whitefish and fried snow fish, and baby shrimp light and delicious. Scampi delicious. Grandson pronounced the chicken fingers some of the best he has ever had (and he's had a lot). Waitress... More

Hungry or not, you will want to try this local restaurant's white fish sandwiches with their in-house created tartar sauce! The fish? Delicious, light, crispy, golden battered and excellent every time! I speak from a decade of visitations...never disappointed! Give it a try...hungry or not.

Cute little place with a New England style atmosphere. Food has that homecooked taste. Great for lunch, not busy

Although the building needs some general upgrades and degreasing, the food was good and the waitress was on the ball. I had the build your own platter with snow fish and my partner had the sampler platter. We both enjoyed our meals and will return when the urge for something more than a fast food lunch hits us...

Could use a good cleaning. The clam strips & whitefish were good. Slaw was pretty sweet and the hush puppies were greasy. But, couldn't beat the price.

We started the meal with fried mushrooms and zucchini. I ordered the stuffed whitefish. The fish was good but, quite frankly, the stuffing was entirely too rich and was somewhat inedible. The appearance of the restaurant is nostalgic but I wouldn't say it looked like a dive. It was clean. However, I didn't think the food was that great.
