My boyfriend and I were in town for the weekend and wanted to grab breakfast. Neither of us had been to Bub's Cafe, and we were pleasantly surprised. We went at the busiest time on a Saturday, but only had about a 10 minute wait; they also had tables outside to sit at while you waited. After being seated, we... More

Food isn't great at all. Service was slow and not attentive. I had to wait almost 10 minutes for syrup and ketchup to begin eating my breakfast.

Tried it our first morning in town. Made it a point to go back all three days! Quaint location, good service and good food! Would definitely recommend it to friends! Love their Hillbilly Benedict!!

What a delightful surprise this cafe produced. Walking the MONON trail, there it was & we just had to go in. The menu also provided a few surprises with choices not seen before. The food was delicious & well presented.

They specialize in breakfast and lunch with the house special of the home made doughnuts. Every time I have been there I thought the food was good, servers are attentive and they have a large local following so much that the servers know most of the patrons by name. It is also nice that the head chef/owner is visible and... More

My kids and I found this gem by going through the reviews of where to eat breakfast in Carmel. Arrived at approx. 8:30 on Sunday morning and was seated immediately. The server was attentive and friendly. I had one of their specials which consisted of biscuits, eggs over-easy within the biscuits and gravy all around. It was amazing! The coffee... More

My son and I went for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We had about about 15 min wait. This place is not very big, so the waits could be longer. The service was okay and the food was pretty good. I had a mushroom, onion, bacon omelette and my son had a special of the day. It was biscuits with... More

This is a pretty standard burger place. It is located right on the Monon at Main Street. The burgers are big but usually patience is the key to enjoying your visit. It's best when you aren't starving and have some time just hanging out people watching and waiting for your table. This is not the place to come for a... More
