Family owned and staffed. Always friendly service, sometimes overwhelmed when busier than usual. Sushi and sashimi as well as other Japanese dishes. Lunch and dinner. Always have more than enough to eat. had one of 3 specials for day and wife and i split it. Soup (wife), salad (me), 3 Sushi rolls. added 2 glasses of house wine (Canyon Road),... More

The fare here is better than one might think, reasonably priced, the service friendly and unhurried. We have eaten here frequently and consider it a staple in Japanese dining.

This is probably our sixth visit. We ordered five different rolls, ate, paid the bill and left in under an hour on a weekend night. We had been going to a different sushi place that is closer to our house. Sansui has better sushi, service, and prices. No complaints of any manner. We'll definitely be back.

We were a little worried when there were no cars but decided to try anyway. The sushi was fine and well priced. The cooked entrees were expensive for what we got. We also didn't expect it baked with gravy. It was tender though. I would stick strictly witb sushi here. The service was excellent. They were very friendly.

I drove past Sansui many time throughout the years. Finally went there for dinner a few times. The last time, I had one of their specials: soup & salad and several rolls for under $20. My wife ordered several rolls from the menu. We also had their soft shell crab appetizer which we liked very much. The plum wine was... More

This is not your fancy, trendy, special occasion type atmosphere. This is just about 2 ladies that take care of the people the best they can in the front of the house while 2 members work the kitchen & Sushi station. They are friendly, will try to take care of you the best they can, and you become part of... More

We have been coming to Sansui for sushi for a few years now and still have to say they have the BEST sushi around, even after trying their competitors! The service is great on week nights, but be prepared for a wait on Fridays and sometimes Saturdays because that is their busiest times. It's worth it though because The owners... More

Not the most elegant. Not trendy. But for the money, simply the best sushi in Carmel, IN by far. The staff is super friendly. The sushi is excellent!
