Fresh and hip(ster)

Fresh foods and interesting menu. Our group had the huge bowl of garlicky fries (great), a bowl of green beans with dipping sauce (somewhat bland), curry noodles, tender brisket, excellent margharita-style pizza with juicy tomatoes, an unusual flatbread pizza with German sausage slices and a... read more

What a terrible dining experience. If I could give no stars I would. To start with, we asked for white meat for our fried chicken. Our server never indicated this was not an option. Three in our party of six all ordered this. When we were served a leg, wing, and half a breast, the server feigned ignorance as to... More

I have been going to Farm semi-regularly since I moved to Bloomington about four years ago. If the quality of the food was the only concern, I'd go more. The menu is creative and the food is often exceptional. The restaurant has a nice full bar with a nice assortment of premium cocktails and generally with waitstaff is pleasant. Where... More

We wanted to try Farm after hearing nice things about it. Well... We were seated quickly and then the manager came over and told us we might be happier somewhere else. We had our teenagers with us and we asked why they said it was between lunch and dinner so all they could offer was a few items. I had... More

This is a rather unique restaurant in downtown with the focus on farm fresh. The bowl of garlic fries is a specialty that should not be missed. The bison burger and pizzas are very popular. Nice selection of bottled beers and a limited selection of beers on tap. Overall the service was solid.

Terrific menu, full of new innovations and very creative. Everything is fresh and delicious. The Garlic Fries are a must. I love the Messy Sandwich (without tomatoes). The only challenge here can be long waits, especially at lunch, to get served. If you are on a time crunch, it may not be your best option but if you aren't it's... More

Went with my siblings for a Holiday meal. We ordered the fries, which were a huge bowl of fries with red pepper, parmesan and parsley on them. Fantastic, and 3 of us had a hard time finishing. I ordered the salmon, it was ok, I thought it was a bit under cooked, but I didn't send it back. My brother... More

The Farm is not only one of the best restaurants in Bloomington but CAN be one of the best restaurants anywhere. As residents of Bloomington, it is not unusual for us to dine here once a week and it can meet a wider range of dining needs from complete meals to fine cocktails and bisto appetizers. The style of the... More

Farm is by far my favorite brunch destination. The biscuits and homemade jam is to die for, and the wait staff is wonderfully trained and attentive. I come here for brunch every single time I visit Bloomington. The chef puts together some excellent features, and it is worth spending a little extra for a nice meal.

but service was extremely slow. There were very few people in the restaurant, so we assumed the service would be fast.We asked the server, Zachary, what should we get on the menu.He suggested the Messy Sandwich.Everyone at the table got the sandwich. It took over 40 minutes to get the sandwich. We were never told why, but continued to have our drinks refilled.Due...
