Great, large many with many vegetarian options. Delicious food beautifully presented. Nice surroundings, good service. Best restaurant I went to in a week in Bloomington.

Trying new ethnic food is a passion, so gave Samira a try, and was thrilled with the service and the food. Have returned three times since, and not been disappointed once. Service is fantastic, and the food is completely a pleasure. Lunch buffet offers many different choice, some I find better than others, but for sure there will be something... More

I have eaten in this restaurant repeatedly over the years and I is one of the most deliciously stable places I know. A bit noisy when packed, but quietly reserved when sparsely populated. The food is served warm and is nicely spiced. Nothing harsh. Lamb and cornish game hens that melt in your mouth. Attentive service. Plenty of wine. When... More

We had lunch here and loved it. Great staff, wonderful flavors, and central location. Would definitely eat here again.

First time here with a friend. I got the sampler platter on the suggestion of the waiter. There was a lot of variety and I really enjoyed it. The orange sauced chicken and rice were interestingly different than I expected. The service was spectacular and the restaurant was both more fancier and more expensive than I had anticipated. I would... More

Starting with dessert, the baklava was perfectly sweetened with honey and addictive. We tried the lunch buffet which had a nice assortment of meats, vegetables, rice, salad and fruit. Everything was prepared fresh and very delicious. A great choice for anyone who loves ethnic cuisine. Employees were friendly and attentive.

Samira's lunch buffet is excellent with lots of vegan and gluten free options, a choice of salads, vegetables, fruits, rice and meat dishes. Consistently good. A good value for the $9 ticket, which includes hummus appetizer and baklava for dessert. The only downside is that you will eat too much!

Who knew, I love Afghani food - the veg dishes are astounding, I don't know what they do to eggplant, radishes and other common veg, but they make them sing.

Of all the restaurants in Bloomington, this is always my first choice. I live the flavors and vegetarian choices. I've tried to find these flavors elsewhere and make them at home, but I just can't duplicate them. Do not miss the chance to eat here!
