We went to this restaurant to stop by for breakfast. Fantastic. Food was great, atmosphere was great. But there were some concerns. This is my entire experience: we go in and wait in line for a few minutes before finding a seat. All the seats were full, so we had to wait for another few minutes before the food. When... More

known for good lunches and I agree ... on my last trip we had breakfast before leaving Bloomington and found a great biscuit and gravy dish - very classic, very tasty, very filling ... the traveling partner gave high marks to the blue berry pancakes ... all washed down with good coffee

This is a very cute place to eat. This was an old house converted. The food is good and worth a meal. The signature meal is the filet on Mac and Cheese (pictured). It was good, not great.

chicken sandwichs, pizza, eggplant sandwiches, muffins and their cakes looked good. Order at counter and they bring it to you. Convenient location.

I've been to Scholar's Inn before and used to frequent the Broad Ripple (Indianapolis) location. I'm always struck by how good the food could be, but how low their quality control is. For example, the restaurant was swarming with flies and gnats, the cooler was broken, so you had to wipe it with your hand to see anything, the booths... More

After moving my son into McNutt, we wanted more than fast food in a bag. Scholars bakehouse hit the spot. The club sandwich and the roast beef sandwich were both hearty and fresh. The French fries were also very good. We did not try the desserts, although they looked tempting. NOTE: a number of the negative comments posted to this... More

Absolutely delicious meal served with skill and charm. The dining room was elegant without being stuffy. We plan to return soon.

.....outside of an authentic bagel purchased at 7:00 am in NYC, this place bakes a really fine bagel...the everything bagel was my favorite...everything else looked pretty good but sent hubby out in the early morning just for bagels on a recent visit!

I recently ordered the Rocket salad, and it came drenched with a "dressing', that was really all vinegar. Total kitchen mistake, and obviously no one tasted the dressing. When I brought the salad back, and asked for refund, I was treated like I was annoying the cashiers, and they questioned my memory that I even ordered it. Thank goodness I... More

As a family of four with two young boys, the breakfast was plenty! The boys couldn't finish their French toast or waffle. Everything tasted very good. Will have to try more.
