Nick's is the beloved haunt of Indiana University current students and alumni alike and on any given night you can find a good mixture of both. The food is good, not extraordinary but does its job to soak up the booze from a night spent "Sinking The Biz." I have never had a bad night at Nicks, sometimes bad mornings... More

What an incredible lunch and the service was even better. I sat at the bar and meet local hero Jay. The food was great but the atmosphere and the service was worth the trip alone. This is a must stop when you are in Bloomington. And remember everyone bleeds Red...Go IU!!!!!

My wife and I ate here on a Sunday in mid-July of 2016 while in town for a professional meeting. It was an early dinner, coming in around 5:30pm. My wife had the large house salad and I had a bleu cheese burger. The salad was HUGE and the burger was BIG. There was more food than the two of... More

Been hearing about this place for a few years from my boyfriend who grew up here and was excited to try it. Decided on the BLT on white toast. Best. Bacon. Ever. I fancy myself a BLT lover and this one did not disappoint. Farm to table ingredients make this sandwich a favorite for sure. Bf had the tenderloin sandwich... More

Popped in here after a long day at IU for my daughter's new student orientation. Sat at the bar. Friendly bartender, good beer selection. Had some great wings, although slightly expensive. Great atmosphere, fun place.

First time I came to this bar was in 1976 when IU basketball won the NCAA championship. It was absolutely crazy, with all the students and else enjoying the moment and drinking that victory!! I've come several other times; some of them very peaceful for a cognac or a drambuie, my favorite solo drinks! Occasionally, I've had pizza, which I... More

I have been told all the food here is great but truthfully I have in 50 years only gotten a pizza. Their pizza is the best I have ever eaten. Enough said.

I don't have as much a history here as others, but it is a cool place. Their sink the biz fries are fantastic. Really good. Their wings have been really good too. Pizza is average and the burger ordered in our party was skimpy and burnt. So, a little inconsistent, but some really good items. They have good beers but... More

Go to Nick's, open here since 1927, because it is an Indiana University Institution. A history is displayed throughout this lively establishment; on the walls everywhere, at the bars and at the tables. This is a true pub experience. Great beer, all sizes of ways to consume; and food that is basically; fair. But in pub's - we go for... More
