My colleague and I tried the Tuesday special crepe with soup or salad. A delightful lunch at an incredibly low price. The crepes were perfectly cooked and the sides were fresh and delicious.

Last time I was here, 5 years ago, the food, service and ambience were easily 5 stars. It has been getting not so favorable reviews, but I came back. Well, the food is still good with a great French accent, service was not maintained at the high level, and somehow the atmosphere lost an inch. Yet, I still think it... More

Delicious peach/ginger cold soup to start, perfectly prepared (rare) steak with homemade Gorgonzola butter, crazy good veggies...absolutely savored every bite. What a great little surprise!

We had dinner and a salmon dish did not taste right. The restaurant was busy and the service was slow; when the server ultimately came over he offered to prepare a different dish but by that time everyone else was almost done eating. We felt we should not have to pay for the dish but the owner said it did... More

This little unassuming restaurant isn't easily noticeable. It's just a block away from the Hyatt Place hotel, so easy to get to from there. The owners are a French couple somewhere above 50 years old, and they say they've run this place for 39 years so far. There are no menus - only a crappy old white board on the... More

Great food, great coffee, great service. Only thing is there is an unpleasant smell in the dinning area, I think it has something to do with the rainy weather.

Horrible experience on all accounts. First of all, place was FREEZING. 60 degrees tops, and owner compulsively checked the thermostat -- wife increased temp at one point and he quickly returned and turned it down again. Everyone in restaurant was bundled up and freezing. Too cold to enjoy selves. Next, food was mediocre at best with prices of a very... More

We celebrated a birthday here and found the restaurant quaint and cozy. The pate and mussels were amazing but we found the main course lamb unfortunately tough for several of us. The dessert was good as was the wine. Mae would recommend but avoid the lamb.

The limited, well cooked and sauced menu appeals to those who hate too many choices. The owners are ever present and charming. It's more like a large family meal. Innovative and sometimes unusual, don't forget the crepes, croque monsieur and the special treats at the walk up window on Saturdays! A Bloomington tradition!

This is the place you go because you know the food is amazing. Whatever they have on the menu. The lady owner is French and has the gift to cook amazing food. The menu changes depending on the season and ingredients availability. There are usually four choices (beef, fish, chicken, plus something more exotic). One time they had rabbit meat,... More
