Best takeout

I went to Sunny Palace based on a recommendation from a friend. I was not disappointed. I went for lunch, and their lunch specials are around $5. The portions are not gigantic, but the quality of the food seems to be higher than some of the other takeout places in Bloomington. I plan on eating here again, it was a really pleasant experience.

Perfectly adequate - but there is no great Chinese food in Bloomington

There is absolutely NO good chinese in Bloomington. Sunny Palace has some good dishes - try their chicken broccoli, but overall it is okay. Having said that, they are convenient with very friendly owners. If you want special, though, try going Thai instead. There is a very good Thai restaurant just behind the Kroger with awesome pad thai that is only slightly more expensive.

Very good food

The Sunny Palace is a Chinese restaurant with a nice menu and the food is very good. Service is always friendly and efficient. The hot mustard is freshly made, not in packages like some restaurants. Lunch prices are very reasonable as is their dinner prices. I recommend this restaurant for delicious and reasonably priced Chinese food,

Sunny Palace, awful!

Went to Sunny Palace yesterday to be with my wife's yoga Thursday lunch group, 8 of us. Took over half an hour to get our meals to the table. My seafood dish was lukewarm at best. When I went to pay the hostess did not know up from down and tried to charge me for 2 egg foo young dishes when there was only 1. Do not know if these are new owners but they need to get their act together real quick. Way better asian food than this place all over Bloomington
