Bloomington is home to many ethnic restaurants. My personal favorite is tucked away in an older house on 4th Street. It is small but has a lot of charm. Their lunch buffet offers a wide variety of Turkish dishes, hot and cold. They have something for everyone to enjoy. The owner and staff are very friendly also. Support this local... More

It is a great place! I walked right past as I wondered if there would be many choices in a buffet. Family member decided to go in and check it out. AMAZING! So many choices. The Russian potato salad was out of this world. Too many choices. You can sit on pillows and watch the world go by. 8.55 if... More

Their lentil soup (complementary to most dishes) is quite good, as well as their tea. Overall, food is nice and service is quite kind and fast

We had a beautiful spring dinner on the deck. There was so much food for the money! They served Turkish tea free with the meal--very delicious. I got moussaka, and it came with rice, salad, tea and bread. It was not the type that I was used to, and I actually liked it more than the one I have had... More

Anatolia is a small place but with the right ingredients. The atmosphere was cool with the option of regular sitting or traditional Turkish. The food was good and fairly priced. Good place to go with friends.

My IU student granddaughter wanted lunch here and it was a brilliant choice. Best buffet of the type ever. Maybe even best buffet ever. Stunning array of dishes. Couldn't identify much but it was all beyond delicious. The cook came out to see if we enjoyed our meal as we left. Charming. (Just had trouble with floor seating, but there... More

This is a small, but fun restaurant. If you have never had Turkish food, this is the place to try it. You have the choice of sitting at a table, or on cushions on the floor if you sit on the enclosed porch. The red lentil soup is so delicious, I wish I could eat some right now. They have... More

A few friends and I stopped in for a bite of dinner tonight at a restaurant I had not been to before. I was pleased to find that the Turkish restaurant smack dab in the middle of Bloomington, Indiana was charming without being pretentious, and had excellent food without being too pricey. The Kebaps were nicely done and the soup... More

We went to Anatolia from a suggestion of another restaurant server, the food was good but the experience was better. We sat on the floor on pillows, had tea, eggplant salad and red lentil soup. All was very tasty, for entrees my wife and I split a chicken kebob, lots of food to share but chicken was a bit dry.... More

This is one of the best medditeranean restaurants that we have been to. It is a small place but awesome ambienece. You can either use the tables or use the cushions to sit on the floor. We preferree the latter. Their ayran and hummus were out of the world. The vegetarian bowl tastes so much like indian. The kisir ,... More
