I have been by this restaurant many times and just never stopped. It always seems to be busy which to me is a good sign. I tried the enchiladas Ranchero. It was very good. The plate had a good size portion and fresh ingredients. It was not drowning in the sauce or cheese as can happen sometimes at certain chain... More

Good solid Mexican restaurant experience. We ate in the bar (about 9pm) and chips & large bowl of salsa were delivered immediately with menus and drink orders taken. Chips were good and salsa was great. Menu contained a huge option of selections. Drinks were returned promptly and food orders taken. Food was delivered very quickly and was piping-hot. Our group... The restaurant was recommended and we went with a group of 9. Plenty of available seating but drinks took at least 25 minutes followed immediately by the meal. Tortilla chips had a funky taste like they were stale or cooked in bad oil but the salsa was good. Meals were not even good and I left a great deal unbeaten.... More

We always ate here when we lived in Bloomington. It was always clean and fly free. That's not the case anymore. We were annoyed by flies. The menu's had to be PEELED apart to opened. I have dietary limitations. And can't eat peppers, onions, and tomatoes. They don't fully disclose what's in their chimichangas on the menu. There's peppers, onions... More

Bloomington is a tough town for the survival of restaurants. I'm glad that this good Mexican restaurant is still doing so well. We have enjoyed La Charreada during past visits to Bloomington and returned last week. We were very pleased with our dinners. Our waiter was quick and courteous and all orders were prepared as specified. There was enough food... More

Found this little jewel when staying at the Hampton Inn just down the street. The food was fresh, service was great and the price is very reasonable. Highly recommended.
