Great authentic Mexican food and the best drinks ever!! Always crowded, so be prepared to wait, but worth the time!

Food is not too bad, but the service definitely not the best, specially at lunch time the lady is not very pleasant .

My boyfriend loves this place and wanted me to try it. I grew up eating Grandma's Mexican food so I love it but I find most Mexican places have pretty good food. This place however is excellent!!! There are some traditional specials that you can't find most places. The specials do change but the night we were there I got... More

We had dinner there a few days ago. It's located on RT.47, in a strip mall. Indoor and outdoor seating, weather permitting. Extremely clean, newer building. Give it a try if you haven't already.......it's Wonderful!!

While Mixtec is known for its Margaritas, come here for the dessert! The food is great - all of it, including the tortillas and salsas, made on site - and the blood orange margos are divine - but it's the CAKES made by one of the staff that are really noteworthy - my apologies, friend, on spacing your name! Your... More

My wife and I were treated to dinner here for my birthday. We're not big on Mexican food but my brother thought this was worth a try and so four of us went. The service was simply outstanding, the beer cold and the food plentiful and tasty (like a number of other reviewers my wife, too, loved the barbacoa).

Original Margareta so good. see pic. Also, you need to ask about the salsa see pic. Mild, 2 medium, 1 hot. All fresh and delicious. I ordered "off the board" though their menu items are good too. I sat at the bar, met the bartenders, shared some jokes, tricks and laughs. The portobello mushrooms were fresh and tasty. I'll be... More

We love Mixteca! My wife has a go to meal with the Enchiladas. I typically order off the specials board. When they have Barbacoa that's my choice. It's amazing! If you like tender, slow cooked beef that will knock you socks off, get the Barbacoa! Although I have never had a bad meal here. The service has gradually improved over... More

We go here regularly, it's gotten quite busy over the past 2 years- recently renovated, looks better visually than before but food is same! Come early to get a table. Drinks are always excellent- love the mushroom / meat fajitas special. Everything made fresh- you can really taste the difference.

I love Mexteca and obviously others do too. It is alway crowded. Food is so tasty but I think its way overpriced. I would probably go more often but because of the price, I only go when I just need their yummy food
