Wonton Noodle Soup Will Please You!!

This is such a nice down-to earth restaurant. I had the Sweet & Sour Combo for $9.50 (dinner) and loved it. We got an Egg Roll, white rice and fortune cookies. Lunch is even better. For $6.25 you get: Chicken Fried Rice, Egg Roll, egg drop soup and fortune cookies. The menu for lunch specials has 21 different items and they all look great! I had sweet sour chicken and brought some home. They serve you ice cold water with a nice friendly smile. The portions are large enough to split. This restaurant is clean with cloths and placemats on all tales. A real nice experience, try it once and you will return.

So, something is new, and I am not liking it! So sorry to have to be posting this, but whatever changes New china pearl has made, it is reflected in the food and it was terrible.! I went last week and ordered all of our regular food. Nothing new. EVERYTHING tasted off somehow. Less flavor, not mouthwatering as usual. The egg rolls were horrible. I hope that this was just a one time thing, but this restaurant is priced above average and I was ok with that in the past because even the next day, the food warmed up was amazing. Not this time. All of our food left over went into the trash. So sad to see this happen. I will give it another go next week and report back. I hope this was a one time thing.

The soup was delicious but that was all that was good. The crab Rangoon was just fried dough with cream cheese and the main dishes we had was without any flavor. The lo mein noodles were crunchy.

I don't know if New China Pearl is under new ownership but our last order was not good. We ordered Chicken and Pea Pods, Chicken and Mushrooms, BBQ Pork Fried Rice and 2 egg rolls. Both chicken dishes lacked seasoning and didnt have much flavor at all. The Chicken and Mushrooms had literally just chicken and mushrooms, that's it. The worst thing about both of these dishes was the "gloppy" sauce that they were in. We had some leftovers that we stored in the refrigerator. The next day, the sauces had congealed into a gelatin like texture. I thought that was odd but thought it would liquefy in the microwave. After 3 minutes in the microwave it was still like gelatin. I ate the pieces of leftover chicken and threw the rest out. The BBQ fried rice was dry and had tiny bits of pork. The egg rolls were OK. I like supporting local businesses and I'm sad that the quality has declined at New China Pearl. This used to be our go-to for Chinese food in the area.

Family owned. Great food. There are many Chinese Restaurants but this is special because each meal is made at the time you order. Best Pot Stickers and Hot Sour Soup.

OMG, the best Chinese food anywhere!!!!! Please go to this small Pearl! The people are wonderful, the menu is HUGE, I have been going for many years, and they never fail! There is something for everyone to enjoy and the Shrimp and Lobster sauce is unbelievable. They have very large portions, and we always have enough for all 4 of us to eat again the next day. Order extra pot stickers as i guarantee you will want some the next day. They warm us beautifully in the micro. The shrimp fried rice is great, not too salty. We also like the pork fried rice. Order the wonton soup. It is amazing.

Wonderful Sweet and Sour Chicken!

Such a nice little family-owned restaurant. No waiting and great food; dining room is small tho and you get to seat yourself. There are tablecloths on each table and the waiter is very friendly. Lunch is $6 served from 11am to 3pm Monday thru Saturday and it is good. You get soup, chicken fried rice, egg roll and fortune cookies! We had the best sweet sour chicken and it appeared that it hadn't been sitting around for days. Great soup and large egg roll. I liked the sweet sour sauce it came with too. The place is clean and neat with lots of take-out people coming and going. Try it, you'll like it and so very reasonable.
