We have gone here for over 20 years and the quality hasn't changed - delicious and available with everything... sauerkraut, jalapenos, mustard, ketchup... and more.

I used to stop here for carry-out lunch once a week when I was working nearby. Retired one year, I hadn't been back. Recently I found myself in the vicinity at about lunch time and stopped in. The man behind the counter was pleased to...see me and still remembered my standard order of a dog and fries. He chatted me up about my retirement, remembered that I was writing science fiction and was extremely personable. I promised that if he bought one of my novels, I'd come back and autograph it for him. Since he doesn't have my email address, now I have an excuse to come back again.More

As a Chicago dog joint goes, this one gets an "A". These fellows know what their doing, and they've been at it for at least 25 years. It's all basic guy food. Fast. Tasty. No frills. (And, for gosh sake, no ketchup on the dogs.)...Also, clean and well managed. I'm partial to their sloppy joes. Give 'em a try. What calories? Who cares? Just shut up and eat.More

Very good hot dogs small amount of fries. They can step up and provide more fries for the price. Very good Chicago style fast food

This place has been around forever apparently, so there must be an audience. On our visit, we tried to find the charm of the place. We conclude that there isn't any. The food is marginal at best, the cheese fries are criminal in execution and...the place just looks disorganized. It must be living on past glory. We don't get it.More

Been coming every once in a while for over thirty years and each time the place is more run down, worn and dirty...... the food is average for most Chicago style hot dog stands but there is no enthusiasm or ambiance. Head to Poochies to...see how Irving's used to be......More

Quick Good Food. Hot Dogs, Burgers, and Chicken Breast sandwiches. Good fries, fast service. Nice shakes!

Convenient hot dog restaurant with many other choices on the menu. Char grilled dogs were good as were the fries. Chocolate milkshake was very good.

Saw the place when I was waiting for my deep dish from Lou's , stopped in the next night. Great hot dog Chicago style. Great price and I was set ! Fun stop !

There aren't that man places to get hot dogs, and I'm glad Irving's is keeping alive the tradition of a good hot dog. I enjoyed a few of their other locations as well, back in the day when there were several Irving's in the area...(I wish they'd bring them back!).More

Not bad for what it is, but eating there too often is not healthy, however good. The service is fast and not very friendly. They play to a fast food group who are in a hurry.
