Good service, average food

Stuck in a time warp of somewhere between 1958 and 1964, this tired restaurant seems to have failed to move forward in more than decor. The menu features primarily beef and seafood. The beef was mainly straightforward steaks served with an scoop of flavored butter on top. Seafood offerings are... read more

I've been to Pete Millers many times over the years and used to love the place. The last few times though I noticed that the service is just not as good as it used to be, and that the food quality is inconsistent. What saved it was that they still have live music and room to dance too in the... More

Slow and very poor service with arrogant personnel. For a supposed upscale place this is in the bottom 5% of everything I have seen, after dining in and around Chicago, and the rest of the World for over 40 years. Don't go !!! It is not worth it

Hoped into the restaurant on a lark = WOW! We have a wonderful server, live music, and a delicious steak. The restaurant has a wonderful and quiet vibe = great for conversations, both intimate and professional. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

There is a reason why neighboring restaurants are busy and this large restaurant had 3 tables on a Sunday night. We made reservations in advance and upon arriving the host seemed perplexed and had us wait several minutes until she could verify our name for an empty restaurant. The piano bar and crooner were singing to a sole person at... More

Our server, Brian set the tone for a wonderful celebration. Personable, funny with a good understanding of human nature. Knew when to approach the table and when to give a us a few moments of privacy. His recommendation for bacon wrapped scallops was spot on ad the London Broil and Atlantic Salmon was outstanding! And to top it all off... More

This restaurant was my favorite on a recent visit to the Chicago area. Our party of three all enjoyed the signature salad that was served with grilled salmon or calamari, shrimp or other fish. The service was wonderful; the music was an extra treat. I wish that we had this restaurant in our neighborhood.

We were really looking forward to trying Pete Miller's having heard good things about it. The evening started poorly when they said they couldn't find our reservations, despite the fact that they called earlier in the day to confirm. After that was resolved, we ordered drinks. One of us didn't like the drink as prepared and was informed that it... More
