Four former Egg Harbor managers took over this restaurant. One of them stopped by our booth to make sure we were satisfied when we ate here last month. When the covid 19 restrictions are over, I look forward to returning and trying the shakshuka.

Most enjoyable food. Service was excellent as well as timely. Highly recommend! Gyro plate was gigantic and presentation awesome. Friend had equally large sandwich with fries. Nice ambience and fireplace adds a nice touch especially during the cold weather months. New owners stopped by several...times to see if everything was to our satisfaction. Can’t wait to go again.More

The Rise n Dine Skillet I ordered hard traces of meat in it, the potatoes were bigger pieces. It was supposed to have skirt steak, potatoes, eggs & mushrooms. The skirt steak was certainly missing.

We had peanut butter stuffed French toast and loved it. Great service. You should call ahead to find out how long the wait is.

Rise 'n Dine is a great, independently owned breakfast/ lunch spot. The owner is always on-site, the staff is well-trained, and the food is good. While it is not the cheapest place to eat breakfast or lunch, it is nevertheless worth a stop, because you...do get what you pay for.More

People absolutely rave about Rise N Dine, but while I have found the service to be excellent, the food is another matter. With the word 'pancake' in the name of the restaurant combined with all of the people gushing about the quality of the pancakes,...I actually ordered them on multiple visits. I thought they were spongy and chewy and both the pancakes and syrup were unappealing. Had to order them again to make sure it wasn't just a fluke. Nope. Staples such as eggs, bacon and hash browns are mediocre. All of them seemed overcooked and dry. The one item I *have* been impressed with, however, is their skillets. Cooked to perfection. High quality, fresh meat and vegetables. Service has always been super friendly and helpful on every visit. This is the type of establishment that obviously has regulars and I saw that they recognized several of their customers. The smiling, kind people at Rise N Dine makes me wish I liked the food more.More

Dear payitfwd71, Thanks for your great review. I have to agree with you on the fact that our pancake selection is not what it should be with more pancake creations as it’s in our name. I’ll revisit the recipe again and soon we will be...More

Very friendly family breakfast restaurant. Nice atmosphere, attentive servers and amazing family type food. Can be a bit busy but worth the wait. The menu has everything you would expect in a breakfast place at reasonable prices.

What a friendly, inviting place for breakfast and lunch! A very good selection of breakfast selections that are well prepared and a very good value. The corn beef hash is excellent and egg dishes are always very fresh. My husband loves the skillets! Great portions...and owners are always there and very involved with their guests.More

We bombarded this restaurant with twenty some people who were all here for a wedding. The owner went out of his way to make an area we could all be together. Food was really great, prices really reasonable. You'll be glad you stopped here.

I agree. They have many menu items without meat. But also, they're very accommodating, so they could make a dish (that normally has meat – a chicken salad, for example) for you without the meat, and maybe even substitute... More
