We like to have breakfast there, it is cozy and they have delicious cornbread and grits (plain one and with cheese).

Had breakfast Sunday morning here with family. Table was sticky. Coffee creamer was spoiled. Waitress was rude and inattentive. Pancakes were very dry, even my 12 year old wouldn't eat them. The butter for the pancakes was full of grease from what appeared to be bacon. We will not return and suggest anyone find another place to eat.

Went for breakfast on a busy Sunday. Decent service and tons of breakfast or lunch items. They will add or substitute upon request. I had an egg skillet loaded with ham, onions, peppers and tomatoes -at my request with just the right amount of potatoes. Orange juice is absolutely fresh squeezed - machine is working overtime. Pancakes looked great too.... More

I came here with my friends during my visit to Chicago for a quick Breakfast not really thinking too much about it, and we were all really happy with the food and quality of the service and we all thought the food was amazing. I cannot say anything bad about our experience, if you are in the area, you should... More

My friends and I go here for Sunday Breakfast almost every week. You can not go wrong with any of the dishes they serve for breakfast and of course the fresh squeezed OJ is a big seller though a little pricey. They will cater to any changes you need for the dishes they serve. Typical breakfast-lunch fare.

Always searching for vegetarian-friendly restaurants, Butterfield's gets a nod for the garden omelette and fresh-squeezed but pricy orange juice. The patio (which looks like a garage with oversized roll-up doors) is extremely noisy when the doors are down. We could not have normal conversation!

We breakfast there usually at least twice a week. Any of their omelettes can be made as a scrambler --- love the lox/cream cheese scrambler or the San Francisco when that is on the specials. Also, you can usually get lunch for breakfast, which is not as common as its opposite. The Philly Chicken Sandwich with grilled vegs and melted... More

Had Sunday brunch with family. Try and avoid the patio.....very noisy. Waitress tends to forget you if you are towards the end corners. Try and stay in main area. Food good and delivered hot...although tended to get empty coffee cup. Overall for busy Sunday..pretty Good!

My wife and I love coming here. The food is always great, the environment very nice, and the staff is generally very attentive. We've mostly been here for breakfast and particularly like sitting in the sunroom when the doors are open.
