When we first got to Tongs we were impressed with the atmosphere and decor. We started off with egg rolls which were actually quite good. We also had pot stickers which were pretty tasty but the dough was a little thick for our taste. That's probably a personal preference issue, so no problems there. My wife ordered Kung pao beef... I had not been to Tong's before but had a taste for shrimp and lobster sauce and was in the neighborhood so I thought I would try it. I entered and was promptly seated and given water and a menu. A few minutes later another gentleman was seated in an adjoining booth. The hostess said something to the waitress in... More

I've known about Tong's Tiki Hut for years, but never went until recently. First, my big disappointment: yes, the decor is tiki, and some of the cocktails are, too, but otherwise Tong's is an above-average (for the area) Chinese restaurant. I was there on a Sunday night with my wife; although the place was all but empty (only one table... More

Very good take out food. Orders have always been accurate and ready when requested. Have never dined in the restaurant but it looks quite nice.

My family and I have been dining at Tong's for over 28 years. The food is always absolutely fabulous. We dine in a lot but most of our orders are carry-out. Not once has an order been incomplete or incorrect. Prices are extremely reasonable and the orders are very filling. My children, husband and I absolutely love Tong's. The two... More

Walking inside you will feel like you are on a South Pacific island. From the over head lamps to the mural on the wall, every detail adds the island atmosphere. The menu has a lot of variety and many vegetarian choices. The food was plentiful and very tasty.

No matter how many Chinese restaurants we try, we always end up back at Tong's. They truly are the best around. If I had to complain about one thing, it is that they continue to use MSG. We order without, but there are some things you can't get MSG free. So many Asian restaurants have gone MSG free. I wish... More

Bamboo, Seagulls, nautical decor. Fantastic food. We had the Bo-Bo platter for four. It was enough food for a meal, but we ordered entrees as well and had so much food to take home. The dishes were the best Asian food we have tasted in area. The service was fantastic and we felt like we were in a time machine... More

The ambiance is pretty good with all the expected tiki decor. Drinks are good, food is pretty average. Service tends to be slow, but it might just have been because we came in for supper about 8pm.
