The food was outstanding! We had the wings as an app and the Italian beef sandwiches for dinner. Great service and family friendly setting !

So, somehow I ended up in the area of Utica over the weekend. I was about 100 miles from home and in what I would describe as pure, remote, Midwest heartland. Utica is actually a charming little town….street really, just about a block, maybe two, long. Quite pleasant and well kept. Well, me and the lads were a bit tired... More

I loved the wings! The place was clean and nice as well, good atmosphere. Also be sure to try the Mac n cheese bites! I don't understand why anyone would rate this joint three stars, it's exactly what you want after a long day of hiking at starved rock, delicious comfort food.

Great food! We love their fish, mashed potatoes, and broccoli bites. The service has always been great even when there is a big group of us. Definitely a must try when in the area.

Stopped in on a impromptu weekend with our kids - all the food was excellent and very affordable. The steak sandwich was especially good.

Nice friendly locals place. TVs at the bar area. Great pork tenderloin sandwiches which we love and do not have out west where we live. Large portions.

Thank you for the review! Pork Tenderloin sandwiches do seem to be a Midwestern thing (that and family style chicken)! When my brother comes to visit, it seems he only eats the porks as well! But he's in Maryland and has good seafood so when I visit him I eat crab cakes everywhere we go. Thanks for visiting and we... More

Was not expecting much in this small town - kinda out in the middle of nowhere. However, the food and service was quite good. Affordable also!

Skoog's was recommended to us by one of the other stores in town. They said they had the best hamburger and it was big enough to share. They were so right. It's a 3/4lb. burger with fries and cole slaw that they hand pack and cook and are most willing to plate it on two separate plates. The bartender was... More
