We're Florinda's Pizza Ristorante Italiano, and we've been the premier pizza restaurant here in Taylorville, IL, since 2000. We believe in making pizza the Sicilian way and offer thin crust pizza, pasta, paninis, desserts and much more. We use the freshest ingredients to make our authentic recipes daily. Best pizza in town!

Florinda's has the best pizza in town! We used to go every Friday, but having moved away, it is now my first stop in town! They have the best Italian dressing EVER! The staff is extremely friendly and the environment is quiet, peaceful and relaxing! I take everyone visiting with me there and they all agree! LOVE Florinda's!

Great meal; very pleasant atmosphere!

Our hosts at the B & B recommended Florinda's restaurant. We each had a different entree and both were very good. The restaurant was a very nice temperature (so many restaurants are cold; this one was not) and the environment was nicely decorated and quiet - good for relaxing and for conversation. We will go back when we return to the area!

Food was very good but only ones full were the kids. They didn't offer large size but I've never ate at any restaurant ever and walked away feeling like I needed another meal. Seems like portions have gotten smaller over past few years when prices have rose or some stayed same - just less food. My husband and I both were still hungry. Thought maybe I would just have more bread, but it was a dollar more (per piece of garlic bread) and I was already kinda upset. 2 adult pasta meals, 2 salads that do NOT come with meal and two kids meals were and 4 soda was over $50 to walk out still hungry? Thanks anyway.

We dropped in very late for dinner, so late, it was almost closing time on a week night. However, the staff was still very polite and made us feel welcome.

Their vegetarian pizza is a must to try. This was recommended by the Market Street B & B owners and we were not disappointed. A must stop to eat...and if you want, they deliver!!!

Authentic Chicago experience in central IL

This is our go-to stop if I want a pie. There aren't many places my 3 year old likes to eat, and she just cannot get enough of the cheese bread and pasta here. You wouldn't think this much taste would be packed into the small looking store front, but once inside there is decent seating and we are always waited on within a very acceptable amount of time. They have off the wall drinks and plates that you don't find in other Italian restaurants. This is by far the best in Taylorville, and honestly the best we have had in Central IL.

Delicious food

My family and I recently ate at Florinda's restaurant on the Taylorville, IL square. It was nice and quiet. They have dine in and carry out. The prices are reasonable. The family salad was enjoyed by all 4 of us. I had the cannelloni. My husband and son had tortellini. My daughter had stuffed shells. All of the meals were delicious!!! They gave us wonderful garlic bread to go with our meals. The server was polite and there when you needed something. It is a wonderful place to go if you want real Italian food! Florinda makes sure you enjoyed your meal! We will be returning soon!

Priced right, prepared right and served right. Nice quiet atmosphere or the low traffic courthouse square. Bruschetta is must that and may be enough.

Authentic Italian food

Florinda is from Italy and she brings with her great recipes. Everything we have had here is very good and the wait staff is wonderful. Florinda flies around the restaurant, cooking, serving and speaking with guests.

Only authentic Italian in town!

The best and only authentic Italian in town!! I love their marinara sauce. The stuffed chicken Alfredo pizza is awesome with a side a marinara! Bosch stick are great and pasta is good too. Service might seem slow ,but it's family owned and great food is worth the wait. If you want great pizza definitely eat here!

This restaurant is truly romantic and has great service. We ate here for dinner and were amazed at the authentic home made taste. It is truly a remarkable experience. It is also very reasonably priced.

There are slim pickings in the town, but I would not return here. Service was very slow and there wasn't a full house when we went on a Friday night. Food was edible but nothing especially memorable.
