Went to this little eatery, for the first time the other night, thoroughly enjoyed the food, it was cooked to perfection. We found the wait staff to be on the ball and provided quick efficient service. Only draw back is the seating is not that comfortable (no chairbacks) if you need to have back support I wouldn't recommend to go... More

I have visited Emma's countless times with different friends and the result has been that we all agreed the food is excellent. It is always crowded yet we have never been neglected in being served. It is very noisy so the only way to carry on a conversation seems to be to shout, but some managed very well ! I... More

I much preferred the old Emma's when it was a charming restaurant - it's turned into a very casual eatery and doesn't have much atmosphere and very cramped. Not worth the prices they charge, better off going to a proper Lebanese restaurant. The food was ok, nothing to write home about, I've had much better fatoush and the fish was... More

I visited Emmas for the first time with friends on Monday night. The homestyle lemonade with rose water was delicious, and the food was okay despite dry, burned falafel and soggy ancient fattoush. The plate sizes were rather dainty compared with other Lebanese restaurants, and miniscule compared to the size of the bill. A few small plates, and lemonade for... More

This would have to be some of the best looking, best presented and best tasting Lebanese food I have ever had. Generous portions, so be warned! Overall homely feel and nice vibe. BYO and down right good. Excellent

This is now called Emma's Snack Bar and is by no means strictly vegetarian. Although its a 5 min walk from home, it had been ages since I'd been, probably because it could be hard to get into. On my return, I had a great meal there with my son. I think the menu is pretty similar and the new... More

This place used to have amazing food that was a little on the pricey side but well worth it. We ordered take out from here recently and it was absolutely dreadful. We used to live in the area & missed going to Emma's so we drove all the way here from Chatswood only to be disappointed and almost $100 out... More

Emma's is new again. Recently re-opened it has managed to combine a casual snack bar feel with a more hip style to create a great atmosphere. A long share table runs the length of the restaurant and on either side are tables and stools for twos and fours. The food offers something different to many other Lebanese places. Its very... More

I have been here a few times now, along with other Lebanese restaurants in Sydney and this is by far the best. It is relatively expensive but for a fancy date night or special occasion or birthday this is ideal. Order several dishes, and dips, bread and wine and simply graze for an hour while chatting. I havent disliked any... More

Was a regular at Emma's prior to the make over and boy what a shock I got when I returned for a cheap weeknight meal. Don't you hate that feeling when you have been comprehensively RIPPED OFF ! This must be Australia's most expensive Lebanese food. $55 for average Babag'ge, tiny portions of eggplant, dry tabouli, and pedestrian fellafel. On... More
