Wow - very authentic Jewish deli with a multitude of food options - truly, something for everyone! If you order a sandwich, you may want to share with someone else. They are delicious but huge.

The food was great but, it turns out, despite listing as kosher, this restaurant is not kosher. It is not supervised, and dairy and meat products can be eaten together.

Their deli meats are worth the premium price -- pastrami is a particular favorite. A little fatty but definitely tender and flavorful. Get the rye bread too. One thing that I've recently noticed though is the bagels have been less than fresh -- a little dry and that's before toasting it. Maybe I got a bad batch of the mish... More

I just had a taste for lox sandwich. Couldn't be better. Server/preparer was friendly. Onion roll was fresh. Seat yourself tables. Dr. Brown Cel-ray. Selfish.

I have gone to Kaufman's for years and the service and quality of food have remained the same...EXCELLENT! The corned beef sandwich is my favorite. Their cupcakes, baked goods, deli salad's, and all the many variety of things are always fresh. Now that I have relocated to Illinois, I always take my out of town guests here.

Very tasty deli foods, with the bread for purchase counter totally separate from the lunch meat and sandwich counter. Good quality ingredients, either to take hom or enjoy in the modest cafe seating. The help is quite knowledgable and will guide you through the various styles of meat products available. Make sure you try a pickle from the barrel. Enjoy... More

We go here every once in a while usually after our dentist appt. It use to be only certain things we would buy here and then head over to "The Bagel" for the rest. Well.. This last time we stopped here after flying in from San Fran a week ago. We bought Pickled Tongue, which my husband just loves, corned... More

Sweets that we bought were not fresh and bagels were hard. We visit Kaufman's Bagel & delicatessen right after they reopen this deli from being under fire. We have been served by owner lady. So it was some time ago. Prices are very high. Cheep eats at high price.

Kaufman's has a reputation for the best bagels anywhere. And that reputation is well-deserved. I've never had a bagel compare, and I've had my share of bagels. The other food is good too - fabulous bakery goods (yummy brownies!) and deli goods (delicious tuna salad, gefilte fish, lean pastrami, lean corned beef). But the bagels are unsurpassed. Try them, and... More
