I tried this restaurant because I was new to the neighborhood so not yet well informed about the restaurants in 'downtown' Skokie. There is not much to this 'downtown.' It's boring and not enough quality stores. This food in this restaurant very bland and unexciting. I ordered crepes, it was very heavy and doughy not the right recipe for crepes... More

Annie's is my go-to place when I have guests in town. The food is very good and prices can't be beaten for the portion size.

This was a breakfast visit. We ordered omelettes, mine with hash browns, my wife substituted with fresh fruit, and pancakes. Coffee refills were frequently offered, water container was put on the table, both were appreciated. Ambiance is kind of old style pancake house. They were jammed but the noise level wasn't bad and conversation friendly. The food is great and... More

Met a friend there on a Saturday. Apple pancake delicious - it took a while for it to be cooked but servers were always filling coffee, etc.which made the wait pleasant. My friend had the pouched egg dish and she said it was cooked just right. It was crowded and the food on all the plates looked delicious (wish I wasn't... More

The omelets are huge,as are all the portions. Service from the bussers, waitresses & hostesses is very friendly. Prices are fair for the amount of food you get. You can enjoy a different soup of the day with lunch.

Visited this location multiple times. Breakfast was a winner, lunch not so much. For someone that prefers a healthy breakfast there are a few options. For those that like decadent breakfast there are many options.

Tried going there on a Sunday but the line for a table was "out the door"! So my family went back on a Tuesday morning and we were able to get a table without waiting. I had French toast with bacon. It was very good. Large portion which I couldn't finish! Service was good. Cute place. I'd go back if... More

Met some relatives here for a Saturday afternoon brunch. Got there around 12:30 and waited maybe 30 minutes. Even though all of the people in our party weren't there they still seated us. Once everyone arrived we ordered. I had a skillet with bacon and sausage. Everything about this skillet was delicious! The eggs (scrambled), cheese, hash browns, sausage and... More

We went on a Sunday morning to Annie's Pancake House, and it was quite busy, though the wait was less than five minutes. One thing that we did notice is that they seem to do a tremendous take-out business. Once we were seated, our meal came much quicker than I actually expected. We ordered an omelette and a tuna melt... More
