I have been here a few times, and every time was a great experience. The show itself is entertaining. You are placed in a section with a color which represents your Knight. You cheer for your knight as he competes in medieval games including jousting, sword fighting, and catching rings with his lance. I brought my 70 year old parents... More

We have made the 3 hour drive 3 times now. The whole family loves it. We enjoy all the food (I end up finishing the kids chicken). The lighting and sound bring you right into the whole story. The horses and riders are great. The fighting looks so real. It does cost a bit but I think it's worth it.... More

The food here is decent but let's be honest we don't go for great good, we go for the great show. Our grandson M. got a charge out of eating with his hands, tomato soup, garlic bread, baked chicken, 1/2 of a baked potato, piece of corn on the cob and a pastry for dessert. We ended up bringing most... More

Medieval Times exceeded my expectations. The food as mentioned by others (roasted chicken, corn, potato, etc with dessert and appetizer) was actually really tasty and nicely done, and the portions are enough for 2 people to eat I think. Regarding the show, yes it was cheesy and very fake looking at times, but on the flip side I thought they... More

We have driven past "the castle building" for many, many years on our trips to the Chicago area and always comment, "we should try that sometime". Well, we finally decided to take my 5 yr old son to see it after purchasing a Groupon deal. It is worth trying Once. An entertaining show. Lots of cheesy characters with fake British... More

Brought my daughter for her birthday. We all had a great time and were very entertained. The food was decent. The only thing I would like to have her had the option of was a vegetarian food option.

The whole event was fun. A group of 4 of us went. All in out thirties. It was like WWE on horses. Acting was good. Sounds system needed and adjustment so you could understand actors better. The physical acting was okay. These guys do this as a side job for fun so they are not professional stunt men. They are... More

We loved the food! The show was incredible too. Took 3 first timers in their 30's who had a blast. Differently a unique experience to at least try once. All the staff were amazing and friendly!

One of the best experiences I have ever had. The atmosphere is amazing!!! The show is very entertaining. The horses are so awesome!!! Even though you have to eat with your hands the food is fantastic!!! Tomato soup, garlic bread, chicken, corn on the cob, roasted potato, and an apple turnover!! Plus we get crowns! Probably the best dinner I... More

They put on a wonderful show before you even get into the dining hall! Once you are seated the staff is great, the show keeps you entertained and the food is very good. Prices are a tad pricey but if you get a coupon or Groupon...well worth the cost.
