Recently treated our 5 and 3 year-old grandkids to a night at Medieval Times. An absolutely enjoyable evening! Entering the "castle" we were greeted by knights and ladies which the kids enjoyed and were assigned a knight to cheer. Before entering the dining hall we had a group photo and then proceeded to the Great Hall. Upon entering the "great... More

This summer my family of four visited Medieval Times for the third time. I attended a two-day workshop in Schaumburg and brought the family with me. When I asked my kids, ages 12 and 16, what they wanted to do in Chicago they both wanted to go to Medieval Times again. It is an experience like no other. The food... More

I have been here a few times, and every time was a great experience. The show itself is entertaining. You are placed in a section with a color which represents your Knight. You cheer for your knight as he competes in medieval games including jousting, sword fighting, and catching rings with his lance. I brought my 70 year old parents... More

We have made the 3 hour drive 3 times now. The whole family loves it. We enjoy all the food (I end up finishing the kids chicken). The lighting and sound bring you right into the whole story. The horses and riders are great. The fighting looks so real. It does cost a bit but I think it's worth it.... More

The food here is decent but let's be honest we don't go for great good, we go for the great show. Our grandson M. got a charge out of eating with his hands, tomato soup, garlic bread, baked chicken, 1/2 of a baked potato, piece of corn on the cob and a pastry for dessert. We ended up bringing most... More

Medieval Times exceeded my expectations. The food as mentioned by others (roasted chicken, corn, potato, etc with dessert and appetizer) was actually really tasty and nicely done, and the portions are enough for 2 people to eat I think. Regarding the show, yes it was cheesy and very fake looking at times, but on the flip side I thought they... More

We have driven past "the castle building" for many, many years on our trips to the Chicago area and always comment, "we should try that sometime". Well, we finally decided to take my 5 yr old son to see it after purchasing a Groupon deal. It is worth trying Once. An entertaining show. Lots of cheesy characters with fake British... More

Brought my daughter for her birthday. We all had a great time and were very entertained. The food was decent. The only thing I would like to have her had the option of was a vegetarian food option.

The whole event was fun. A group of 4 of us went. All in out thirties. It was like WWE on horses. Acting was good. Sounds system needed and adjustment so you could understand actors better. The physical acting was okay. These guys do this as a side job for fun so they are not professional stunt men. They are... More
