Booked a table for 15 including high chairs etc... it was a really hot day and the pub was busy. The staff, especially Sue could not have been better, service was excellent as was the food. Will definitely be going back.

Normally love the Palmer Arms but popped in today for a quick lunch and ordered 2 soups of the day - the waitress suggested we might like to order a larger portion. Good idea we thought until we got the bill £21.90 for 2 soups!...More

Always a lovely place to visit, rain or shine, summer or winter, it’s a lovely place to catch up with your mates or family, whether a drink in the summer garden or by the roaring fire, or to sit down for food, I’m never disappointed...

Visited with family for my wife's 50th birthday. Food was tasty in a pleasant environment. Didn't get the chance to taste the beers.

My wife and I took my Aunt for a meal at the Palmer Arms last Friday, the food was beautifully cooked and flavoursome, and a very cosy setting with ample parking when we arrived at about 5pm. We would definitely recommend.

Visited with group of friends. Main meals could only be classed as average and desserts overpriced for very small portions. Have had far better and certainly wouldn’t race back.

We turned up for lunch on Sunday, 10 of us, without a reservation - hoping we'd be early enough to miss the crowds. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Despite being fully booked and unable to seat us downstairs they very kindly opened the...More
