The food is delicious and don't even get me started on the desserts! Trust me, save room. If you arrive early, take the opportunity to browse the aisle of the bookstore...I know you will find a good read!

First off, it is connected to the bookstore! Now that's fun! The bookstore has a great yet not huge selection to browse while you wait a short time for your table on a busy day. The food is fun and the sandwiches are of fresh ingredients with awesome breads. Their grilled cheese is awesome served with chips. I get so... More

Had a wonderful salad and sat in their outdoor area. Salad was good as well as the ambiance. My friend said her salad was good as well. Charming place for lunch.

The food at Town House Books and Café is better than one would initially assume. Everything is just that little bit better, you know? They make soups and sandwiches, which is common, but their fare is, well, just that little bit better. This is a popular place for, perhaps, ladies who lunch, casually.

We love Town House Books and Cafe! My husband and I get there a few times a year for lunch and especially like to sit on the outdoor patio. While waiting for our table, we love to go to the book store which has such a nice selection of interesting books. I also go there a few times a year... More

If you are looking for a little quaint lunch place that has great sandwiches, soups and desserts......this is it. During nice weather you have the option to sit outside and eat. Also, it is a short 1 block walk to the Fox River for a nice stroll after lunch. Town House Cafe does not disappoint. Prices are good for the... More

Unique space. Good food. Great space! Especially for book lovers. Worth the trip. Places like this are becoming harder and harder to find.

All of their ingredients are more high end, use gouda instead of chedder. I have had their blue cheese bisque soup and it is so rich and creamy, I just love it, Their quiche is also cheesy and out sanding as is the fresh fruit, The staff is very friendly and service is fast. They almost treat you like family.

Thank Susan W
