All of their ingredients are more high end, use gouda instead of chedder. I have had their blue cheese bisque soup and it is so rich and creamy, I just love it, Their quiche is also cheesy and out sanding as is the fresh fruit, The staff is very friendly and service is fast. They almost treat you like family.

Small and always jammed for lunch. The menu is soups and sandwiches and salads. They have the best peach iced tea, as well as serve beer and wine. The open faced, avocado tuna melt is my favorite. Everyday they have a selection of homemade desserts. In the summer, there is a small outdoor patio that is shaded and simply lovely.... More

Just the perfect peaceful restaurant to spontaneously run in to on a rainy afternoon. Great sandwiches with wonderful flavor. Coffee was smooth and soothing. We will be back again soon.

I've been here a few times and I always love the experience! The food is fresh and always tastes great, they also have a good espresso bar. Don't skip dessert. Service is wonderful as well. I love the interior decor of the café and the bookstore is so eclectic.

Some of best Hummus I've ever had - their delicious platter includes kalamata olives, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers and super crunchy fresh bread - makes a perfect Summertime lunch! Their Apricot-Chicken salad on greens or as a sandwich is another all time favorite and really good homemade soup. Fresh made - truly something for everyone. They have a lovely secluded patio... I really enjoyed this quaint, literary cafe. Wonderful lunch. Had the Tuna-Herb sandwich. Touch of Dill put the sand which over the top.

I buy books there often. Once I found a book of Ambrose Bierce hiding in a corner. (This is something you could actually do.) When I brought the book to the front, the owner said, "Really? I'd forgotten we even had that book here. If must have been waiting for you." Of course, I brought that home with me and... More
