Great place to eat. We don't sit at the hibachi unless with a group and just eat at a booth and always good food and plentiful portions. It's a great place to go with family and friends also to celebrate an occasion, such as a birthday! Kids love it!

My son loves Japanese food and wanted nothing more than to go to Aodake for his 8th grade graduation dinner. Even though we did not make reservations, we were seated promptly, which was nice. The woman switched our table to a booth, perfect, then told us our server would be right with us to take our drink orders... 20 minutes... More

Good food, HORRIBLE experience. The service was horrible, from having to repeat what we wanted to eat, to trying to convince the server that we COULD order something on the menu (she kept saying they don't have that, my husband had to show her on the menu). She only saw us once after we ordered and got salad and soups.... More

To be honest, I was a bit disappointed. We had a family gathering here and I think we had a fairly new chef. The atmosphere and service were good but the food was average. The fried rice wasn't really "fried" and was quite bland. My medium strip steak was medium rare and one person who ordered filet got strip steak.... More

Aodake is a great local great spin-off of Benihana. Depending on your preference, you can pick a hibachi or regular table. At the hibachi table, you can proclaim your food and drink choice and the chef will cook it right in front of you...with funny and entertaining flare. It's definitely worth to experience it at least once. The food is... More

We went for my grandsons 16th birthday. We went later at night on a Monday, and I was told it gets really crowded on the weekends. They seat you at a tale with a grill. Others also join you if it is not full. You place your order and a chef with knives comes to your table to cook every... More

We have gone with groups seated around the chef for a great show and fantastic food, and we have gone for lunch at the tables. Always great hibachi and sushi. One of my favorite spots for lunch or a great group dinner!

Service was slow, staff were curt and uninterested. Food was overpriced and boring. My tempura was dripping with grease. Dipping sauce was tasteless. Not a place I will recommend

This restaurant is very similar to Domo77 or Benihana. I was very surprised because it was so close to my house and I didn't know it. The service was great! The food was cooked before you so you know it was great. I think it might need a little more flare from the cooks. But over all, a delight. Price... More
