Mia Passione is a local Italian restaurant with a big city atmosphere! Linens and candles don the tables yet Mia's provides a neighborhood feel that is perfect for friends and families! Every dish whether pasta, steak, or salads are meticulously prepared from homemade family recipes....The fish is fresh and you can't beat the fresh bread prepared in the stone oven when you enter. Cocktails are abundant and wine choices are wonderful!! The staff is attentive and friendly....you will feel like a "regular" after just one visit! I highly recommend Mia Passione!!More

I moved out of the area 5 years ago, and when i come in to visit my daughter she always takes me to local restaurants because i miss the great restaurants in Chicago. I rarely go out for Italian food because i feel mine is...always better. This restaurant kills it! The Pizza out of the pizza oven in the front of the restaurant was perfect, Appetizer of banana peppered stuffed with sausage was yummy and every entree was great in its own way. I had Sea Bass Francaise, there was meatballs and salad (very Italian) Veal Francaise and a Special of Braised Short Rib Ravioli which i thought was the star of the whole meal. The ravioli was in a mushroom cream sauce which did not overpower the rich flavor of the short rib in the ravioli. It was truly amazing. Did i Mention the wait staff is also really good? They are. Every time I visit Chicago, I will request a visit to this very local gemMore

From the moment you walk in you know it's going to be good! From the warm greeting to the overall ambiance. Excellent selection of appetizers, entree's, drinks and dessert. Went New Years Eve. Our server was awesome. Extremely personable and knowledgeable. The eggplant appetizer, the...best! Tried salmon, chicken, meatballs with gravy...all Excellent! Convenient parking. Can't wait to go back!More

Wow the food here is outstanding. We have been 3 times in the last couple of months and have never gotten anything bad. The staff is great. Sammy took care of us and made sure everything was perfect. If you are looking for a romantic...night or a night out with friends this is a must. They also host a paint and pour night that is loads of fun. It’s Italian food that my Italian mother in law could have made. We have had the vodka pasta, the shrimp and scallops, the chicken parmigiana and the calzones. The seafood here is exceptional. Once you try this place you won’t want to go anywhere else.More

Small but quaint Italian restaurant, with great martinis, the meatballs are the best I ever had, the woodfire pizzas are delicious, can't really go wrong with anything on the menu. My wife and I love this little gold mine.

Have you ever been to a fantastic restaurant and wondered what it was doing in that particular area? Mia Passione is sure to cause that reaction. From the creative cocktails and martini menu to the fabulously authentic dishes, they hit a home run. Still, I...can't help but feel they're a major league team playing in a minor league ballpark. Best advise I can give everyone is "Get over it". Just try it. You won't be disappointed. But don't expect Italian/American comfort food. It's not who they are. They're better than that.More

First time at this restaurant and we were very happy with everything. One of the owners was always around to make sure we were satisfied with the meal and if there was anything we needed.

Visited here with Paul and Kathie. The welcome was second to none. Constant attention from our server, always checking on drink levels and that our food was okay. The restaurant has a New York feel to it. Rat Pack pictures abound. The decor is wonderful....I'd recommend anything on the menu. Wonderful job everyone, I look forward to returning on my next visit to Chicago.More

My husband went here for dinner about a month ago without me. When he told me about it he said, "I have to take you to this place!!". We went for dinner this week and it's a gorgeous little place. Completely new, modern, classy little...family restaurant which was very clean. I loved the decor and the food. We were there with our 3 year old who loved the pasta and chocolate ice cream. My husband got the pork chop special which he raved about. I had the egg plant parm and it was probably the best egg plant parm i've ever ordered in a restaurant before. So happy there is another great neighborhood place to go to. We will definitely be back :)More
