I went a number of times at the old Quincy Mall location. The new location has more charm, in a good way. Now that they’ve been open a few months in the new location, a few initial service bumps seem to be smoothed over. I...think they have the best brisket abs ribs in town, especially for someone like me who doesn’t like the ribs absolutely falling of the bone. Sides are quite good, and creative menu choices put this one at the top for bbq in Quincy.More

Hands down one of the absolute best places to eat in Quincy (or anywhere for that matter)! I love that they take pride in making things from scratch every day and care deeply about food allergies, which I have. I love that they use a...separate fryer to keep things safe so I can enjoy the fries which are awesome. The brisket is so flavorful that I usually skip the sauce just to taste the rub, but if I’m going for sauce, I’m a sweet and Smokey girl for sure. My son loves the ribs and the Carolina rapper sauce and my daughter is obsessed with the corn on the cob (flash fried and dipped in butter). Thanks for always taking great care QueTown!More

Went to Quincy Mall to do Christmas shopping 12/14/2019. Decided to eat and have a few drinks at Que Town BBQ and Brews. They had specials on drafts and bottled beer. Asked which bottles beers were on the list and the "bartender" said she couldn't...remember and went to check, I asked if Michelob Ultra was one of them and she said yes. We told her we was going to order 2 appetizers then some sandwiches. We received one appetizer pretty quickly. But then we sat there for 30 - 40 minutes without any service, while there were 2 other women behind the bar looking at a screen not paying any attention to any patrons. They couldn't use the excuse it was busy because it wasn't. And now I know why. Waitress finally came over and asked if everything was okay, must have noticed us looking around. I told her no we haven't received our other appetizer. She went and brought us our COLD poppers & said we wouldn't be charged for them. I asked for the bill & we was charged full price for the Michelobs and when I asked about the special, she said that was not one of them. No tip was left and I will never go back. We walked down to Dairy Queen and ate lunch. Very poor service. One gentlemen in a wheelchair sat at the end of the bar for over 30 minutes before anyone addressed him.More

This is a family owned and staffed restaurant featuring mostly family recipes. Great BBQ and lots of great offerings for those eating gluten free including Sour Dough GF bread that can be made into sandwiches or simply toast. Home made bbq saurces, and sides from...family recipes.More

A dying mall is not where one would expect to find a very good bbq place, but here it is. I lived for 7 years in between 2 of the highest rated bbq places in America in StL, so was pleased to see that Quincy...has at least three worthy bbq places, this the best among them. The brisket has great flavor, and ribs are meaty but not over cooked-I don’t like them “falling” off the bone. Portions are generous and prices could even be a little higher and be fair. Be sure to ask for the hotter bbq sauce that’s not on the table, if so inclined.More

I read through the other reviews here and have no idea what restaurant they were at, but we certainly were not there! Our recent visit was on September 6th, 2019 as we continue to look for a new favorite restaurant in Quincy, IL. We were...seated promptly and offered drinks but from there, the service became lackluster at best. The waitress did not introduce herself. We felt pressured for quick orders, including her encouraging us to order our entrees when we ordered our appetizer. It was our first visit and we really needed time to read through the menu to make our choices! The appetizer did arrive in what seemed like a reasonable time. We ordered the chili cheese fries. This is one of those "go to" appetizers for my family no matter where we eat and this is one of the few times I was very disappointed. The chili tasted like cheap canned chili. The fries were hard and it tasted like the oil had not been changed in way too long. Getting a refill on a drink was like pulling teeth. Were they busy? No! There was one other customer at the bar and our family of three. The waitress would come out of the kitchen, I would wave my hands. She would go visit with the other staff then disappear again! Both my wife and I had to ask and flag down the waitress for drink refills! I know this individual had something to do with the ownership of the facility as she stated one of the recipes was her grandmother's. Now that we've discussed service, let's talk more about the food. This had to be one of the most bland barbecue restaurants I've ever seen. My son got the tenderloin and it was completely flavorless. Our burgers with the brisket were tender and large but just bland as well. The brisket was tender on the burger. I ordered mine well done and my wife got hers medium well, but both came out looking cooked to the same temperature. The burgers stated they had some whiskey sauce of some sort but both were actually bone dry. The amount of cheese was also paltry for an 8 oz patty with a little (and I mean a little) brisket. Overall, I cannot see any reason why I would try this place again. If you want barbecue in Quincy, stick with Fatbacks Smokin' Racks!More

Great place for BBQ. Our server Ashley was very attentive and made sure we always had what we needed. Everyone had the double plate with different selections and everyone cleaned their plate. I highly recommend this place if you are ever in Qujncy.

The places pretty casual, but nice and clean. I had the ribs and brisket, along with baked beans and potato salad. The ribs were very good. The brisket was pretty good as were the baked beans. The potato salad was was too cold and kind...of flavorless. Overall the meal was good, the service was right on the money, etc. I'd recommend themMore

A friend gave us a gift card to this new restaurant so we picked up carry out food and enjoyed it immensely! The brisket especially was delicious, even when warmed up as leftovers. If you haven't tried this amazing place yet, do so as soon...as possible; you won't regret it!More
