Been around nearly a century for a reason. Do check hours before you go, and if course, the earlier the better. I like their fruit turnovers and danishes, as well as the Boston brown bread. Their angel food cupcakes are well known, but not my...go-to item there. Just go!More

Try their radio roll. You have a chance to buy from the best bakery in Il. Go as early as you possibly can. Rolls fly off the shelves.

It was recommended by local people as the best place in town. Unfortunately they close early and I just “kissed the door”. I wax one minute late after closing. There was still someone inside but she ignored me.

In addition to the famous Angel Food Cupcakes, there are two items that many may not be aware of: Chicken Pot Pie (fabulous) and dog biscuits. The Pot Pie is only available on specific days, so you'll want to call ahead. The dog biscuits are...in a glass jar on the counter. There is no seating, so this is a carry out bakery.More

Underbrinks Bakery is a real Quincy experience. Everything is made fresh each morning and is sold out that day. This bakery is like bakeries use to be. The angel food cupcakes and angel food cakes are the absolutely the best you'll ever find to buy....They also make an orange chiffon cake to die for too. Any of their breakfast pastries are a treat. Lots of different kinds of rolls and coffee cakes to select from each day. Get their early so you won't miss out. Very busy during Holidays so order early.More

This a wonderful pastry shop, but there is no seating. You have to try their Angel Food cupcakes (they're huge!) I only wish they opened before 7am so that I could stop off on my way to work and take some to work with me.

Stopped this morning and grabbed a couple danish, cherry and cream cheese, very good and nice staff. Reasonable prices considering how big the rolls are! Great stop on our way to St Louis!

I don't eat sweets. Having said that, there isn't an opportunity missed to put Underbrinks on my stops whenever I have the chance. My only disappointment is that they do not make donuts - a skill no one in Quincy has yet to master.
