We happened to be in the area on a Friday night and on the recommendation of our hotel manager we called by. A friendly place with efficient service and a great value for money fish fry - a pity we were only able to go once!

Owner is super friendly as is his staff. It is small town type of diner that meets the need. Good food and reasonably priced. We are fortunate to have it as an option in town.

If you're looking for a nice lunch this is a really nice stop right off of 55. First Pontiac exit If driving South. You'll get a nice entree, soup, bread, veggie, potato and desert for something like $7-$9. Seriously! We stop here each time we drive through the area.

We had the cod and walleye which comes with salad and baked potato and a small desert each. The meal was great value and although the fish was "all you can eat" the single helping was enough for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our drinks were refilled. My cod was slightly dry in places but it was... More

We live about 10 miles away and prefer to drive here vs going to our local family restaurant. I like the big, fluffy omelets and my husband likes the chopped steak or chicken fried steak - really, everything we've tried has been good. I recommend ordering the raisin toast with your breakfast. Great service and decent prices and you won't... More

Since we retired we have been going out to different towns to have lunch. This restaurant was a real good find. The soup was good and my husband said they have the best broasted chicken he has had in a long time. The stuffed green pepper soup was wonderful and tasty. We will be going back with the family real soon.

Stopped in for breakfast while traveling to Chicago and was pleasantly surprised. Service was great and food was really good. I also am one to notice cleanliness and the restaurant and bathroom was very clean. Prices are extremely good.
