We have enjoyed meals at The Angel several times over the years when we have visited Maudlam. The meals have always been excellent and well presented, although we prefer our chips cooked more. Staff have been friendly and efficient at each visit.

What a place. We travelled from Manchester to visit friends and the recommended this place and Wow Food was outstanding. Food and sauces is all made fresh and ingredients sourced locally which just makes all the meals taste amazing.

Old de world de pub locals welcoming along with all the staff. The food really reasonabley priced and really nice. Personally I recommend the lamb shank but herd rave reviews all around the table from fish and chips, beef curry, and lasagne
