Had lunch here around five times over two weeks. We liked the peace and quite of coming over to Pigeon Island National Park with its small beaches and beautiful gardens. This is a rustic old bar restaurant with what seemed to us to have a all female crew cooking local and authentic dishes. the location is fantastic with great view really close to waters edge. the menu has everything from light bites full meals and daily specials. the food was great my favorite was the fish Roti and my wife’s was the chicken curry which she had of the specials menu twice. the various waitresses were very friendly and on the few occasions they were not really busy had time to chat and give advice on local information like using water taxis. there is live music here over weekend night which we stayed for once. so if you are coming to pigeon Island make a day of it and pay the extra $3 for a subbed at the entrance, walk the park then get settled on the beach for a few hours and go for a late lunch her before heading home by water taxi from the jetty at the restaurant or land taxi from the gate.

This is the second cafe/restaurant on Pigeon Island, and a delight. Quirky handmade wooden furniture outside, a lovely view over Rodney Bay from the seaward side, plenty of shade, friendly staff and a nice line in hot savoury snacks - like Jenny’s crab cakes, and their veggie spring rolls. Open till 5pm daily and a great place to sit and chill after the hot climb up to Rodney Fort and back.

Possibly the most beautiful location I have ever eaten lunch at.
Good honest food, cold beer, incredible views and very rustic setting. We were expecting to pay for the location, however food and drink is very well priced.
Expect to pay around $10US each for a water taxi from Rodney Bay.. agree a price before you set off..!!!
A must visit, even if just for a cold drink.

Went there today whilst visiting the fort unfortunately we never managed to get served a drink let alone try the food. The lady behind the counter kept refusing to give us a drink at the counter and said she would be down to serve us this was repeated three times. Another couple got sick of waiting and left, I never saw anyone get food served whilst we were there. It’s a shame as I was really looking forward to it. The beach was ok in the park but much nicer round the bay.

We recently visited Gros Islet in St. Lucia. After visiting Fort Rodney, we went for a swim at the beach at the fort park. We were told that there was a great little restaurant just at the end of the beach. We couldn't see it but a short walk brought us to this very rustic looking building on the water. We sat at a table made from a wagon wheel, and the decor was mostly driftwood. Quaint, but far from lavish. We ordered a beer and the Chicken roti, To our delight, the roti was absolutely delicious. A perfect meal to end a great day. Do yourself a favour if you happen to visit Fort Rodney, find this little gem on the beach.

We have eaten here several times, and always had excellently prepared and very tasty food. The art inside is always interesting and accessible, but the flavors are what brings us back. Prices are quite moderate. Typical leisurely Caribbean service. The only downside is the need to pay the US$10/person entry fee into the national park. This is well worth it if you have never explored the park before but on your sixth or seventh visit, just amounts to a tax. But we're happy to support the park and its mission.

Simply delicious. This little eatery is on pigeon island (so you have to pay to get into the national park area) just along the beach. Things started well with their incredible mudslide shake - rum, chocolate ice cream and banana. For mains, we had the curried fish and the fish of the day, both of which were divine. The staff were friendly and we had a lovely coastal view, but the food really made it. Definitely worth eating there.

If you’re on Pigeon Island, this place should be part of your day for affordable and delicious coffee, drinks or a meal, and the fabulous views. The lamb roti was superb! The lamb seasoning was perfectly balanced (so often one or two spices are dominant, but this was perfection) and it was fall-apart tender and lean. The roti is huge, could easily be split by two but it’s so good you won’t want to share. (Recommend hiking BEFORE eating a whole roti or you won’t make it up the hill.)
I expected to be served in Caribbean-time, not lunch-hour USA time, which one should be in the Caribbean but service was very prompt and friendly. I can’t wait to go back!
They don’t split checks at a table which oddly deterred some people from staying.

This is a great little seaside restaurant - very informal, wooden shack beach style. You have to pay to get into Pigeon Island, which belongs to the St Lucia national trust. Plenty of parking outside near a less pleasant touristy beach (sometimes packed with day trippers from cruises), pay around $50 Eastern Caribbean for entry for a couple, turn left and walk past the two small beaches. Service is efficient but not friendly or smiley, but the place has a nice atmosphere, food is very good and, for St Lucia, reasonably priced. Chicken curry, potato wedges, fish roti, banana daiquiri, and seafood lasagna - all really good. Only the fish cakes disappointed. They have a small menu and a blackboard with some additions. Wifi is free. Much better than quite a number of considerably more expensive local restaurants.

If you are moored in Rodney Bay, take your dingy and head directly for Pigeon Island. Otherwise drive round, past Sandals and to the car park. This is where you the head out on foot, through the gates and follow the lights, keep to the path.. you will be rewarded. It’s dark and the terrain can be a little unforgiving, watch for the tree roots. Keep following the lights and you will happen upon a lit oasis of Caribbean music and food. It wasn’t busy when we visited, probably because it’s so off the beaten track. But you will be rewarded with a warm welcome, cocktails and great food. We had crab cakes and calamari to start, accompanied by a fantastic sauce. I then had the special, Dorado, fried, with rice and salad. It was good honest food. Not dressed up as something else. For afters it was their signature banana crumble, served with ice cream. If you are British and like a crumble, then this is a must. I don’t know what they do to it, but my god it’s good!
A highly recommended place, well worth the reward of the journey. Soak up the atmosphere of the real St Lucia, away from the commercial bright lights of Rodney Bay and support the local people and businesses.

Setting amazing. Walked around the fabulous Pigeon Island and decided to have a lite bite before heading to the beach. We should have looked around at everyone else who was there before ordering, our expressions where the same as theirs after waiting over an hour for a few simple snacks. Hummus & pitta bread, cheese dip & corn chips and calamari, only rated the calamari. People were leaving after ordering food, food was appearing at different times. So disappointing.

We ate lunch here on our visit to Pigeon Island and the food and service were great. We tried both the roti and the fried fish sandwich and both were authentic Caribbean food. We ended up being there during a rain event and luckily we were seated under the thatched roof outside so didn’t have to move. Recommend to any visitors to the park.

Had a gorgeous lunch in this wonderful location right next to the sea and beach, stunning. Exceptional food and a must visit for those in the area. We had the curried Swordfish and grilled Dorado - beautiful and of course nicely washed down with a couple of Pitons! ☺️🍺

Four of us enjoyed an early dinner on the deck, a lovely spot to share a good meal. Lamb roti was delicious -- flavorful and tender. My partner had the salad he'd been craving. Lime squash to drink. Chocolate cake for dessert (a special). Loved our interactions with Liz, who was super busy but took the time to be warm and welcoming. If you are anchored out at Pigeon Island before returning your Moorings charter, this will be the Saint Lucia memory that stays with you.

This place is easily missed, situated just off the beach on Pigeon island. Really enjoyed stopping here though. Girls had started to tire of the hotel food, so a quick lunch stop here after we’d scaled the pigeon Island peaks was just the ticket. Sandwiches and drinks and some crisps probably doesn’t sound much, but it was nice, good value and a really lovely location - Overlooking the bay.
