If we are in Peoria on Saturday, we try to eat at Pita's. (They are closed on Sundays.) It is difficult to find Mediterranean food in central Illinois, making this a great find. The restaurant is casual, located in a strip mall. There are booths and tables as well as carry out. The service was incredibly friendly and helpful. I... More

Best gyro ever. Freshest soft pita ever! Friendly staff! Cheap for amount of food you get! Quick good for lunch! No alcohol but good desert! Closed Sunday

We were headed back from a morning out and stumbled upon this place. Coming from a Lebanese family, I am always excited to try somewhere Mediterranean - sometimes the place hits the mark - sometimes it misses. So I was really thrilled with this place - they had Zaatar bread - something you struggle to find. Delicious!! I also tired... More

My wife's family is Assyrian, and she tried the cabbage rolls, she said the flavor was great. She would have liked them to be a little bit meatier, but overall she loved the place, and would for sure go back.

Seriously, the food in this strip mall cafe is outstanding. It is all cooked to order by Rose who besides being an excellent cook is a delightful person. The falafel and kibbe are excellent. The spinach pie is great as is the baklava. Best of all is the baba ganau is sublime. I don't say this lightly. It is the... More

The food here is delicious. The prices are great and you get a generous portion for the meals. Pita bread is baked fresh every day, the hummus is the best I've ever had (also made fresh each day). I highly recommend this to anyone who would like Mediterranean food, the menu is very large and does include American food like... More

Large veg and non-veg selection. Service is always fast and friendly. Food is really good and they are always looking to improve your experience. Lots of interesting items on the menu.

This little gem has some of the best food in Peoria. By far the best gyros in town. The style is authentic and clean (not greasy). They cater, too! If you are looking for felafel, schwarmas, gyros, or hummus, this is the place to go. The only disappointing item I've had on the menu is the french fries.

I was happy to discover this place tucked behind Ashley furniture and Taco Bell. The service is always fast and friendly. The wraps are tasty and portions are generous. I usually can't say no to a small portion of baklava :) I've introduced several coworkers to this establishment and we'll definitely keep coming!

Simply exceptional Mediterranean food in a simple, store front atmosphere. Freshly prepared, quality food with the savory favors of the Mediterranean and Middle East. Gyros, falafel, jibber and kabobs are highlights. Freshly baked breads are a highlight and meats are tender and exceptionally tasty. A true taste treat.
