I stayed at a close hotel during covid for work. Ordered food one night from Double A's. Food was excellent, hot, inexpensive and staff friendly. Note, I was doing take out but really impressed with everything.

I went on a Sunday just after 11am. I was the only customer in the bar area. I asked the bartender if they could change one of the TV channels (They have 10 large TVs behind the bar) so I could catch the end of...the Manchester United soccer match. He went to ask his manager and came back saying they would not change the channel because NFL was going to start in an hour. Thought it was odd that they wouldn't do it since I was the ONLY person in the bar area. So it definitely wasn't like I was trying to take over a TV somebody else was watching. Anyway, I go to sports bars to watch sports. I've never had any other bar refuse to change the channel like that before. And not only that, they were completely dickish about it. I posted about my experience on their Facebook page and there have been no apologies and explanations given in the ten months since this happened. So I haven't been back since. It's a shame cuz I was a regular in the old location on Willow Knolls and had a good rapport with their bartenders, but it's definitely not the same.More

We had family travelers from 3 different States gather on the evening prior to a funeral. Double A's was very accommodating for us to be seated near one another. The have very good food and beverage choices. The Wings and Pizza were super.

Wife had the Tenderloin and I had the Fish & Chips. The waitress was very good, but the food was less than impressive. The Tenderloin was processed fresh from the freezer, and two of the three fish were okay. I don't quite know how to...describe the third piece. I could still be available because I left it on the plate. All in all, we ate what was served, almost. But we won't be back.More

I was in town for a softball tournament. We had a big group of over thirty. They handled it well. The food was fine. Average bar food. But the service was really good.

We were staying in the hotel just feet from this Double A's. We figured might as well give it a try. We had arrived a little after 11am. The restaurant was clean. There were three of us in the party. As we walked in, we...were promptly seated, and drinks were ordered. We were told that the Pizza was the BEST in Peoria. Oh dear...the waitress unknowingly uttered the curse of all restaurant curses! Two of the three of us opted for the lunch buffet. Two of the three of us were disappointed in our choice. The salad bar was great, but that is where the greatness of my meal ended. The pizza was utterly forgettable. If this is Peoria's best Pizza, then please somebody needs to jump in and help save Peoria. Aside from that, my buddy had one of the best bacon burgers in his life here. Yay! Bacon saves the day again. Come for the burgers, but leave the Pizza at the bar. My grade for Double A's, is going to have to be Double C- I would be willing to give it a second chance though.More

Wow, they have improved their location along with seating capacity here at their new location. Same fantastic food and service even though they are in a new spread. Loved the atmosphere and new location, well done.
