Good Food, poor service

Went for lunch with a group of 13. Several in the group had been here before and recommended this place. Service was slow. It was over an hour from the time we arrived til we got our food. At least 5 people never got what they ordered. Nobody cared to wait another hour for the correct item to... read more

Getting together with friends should always be a fun experience and PV II made it happen. Staff was very personable and our server was on her third day there but seemed like she had been there longer. She was quit attentive and made sure our needs were taken care of. Bravo to her! Everyone enjoyed their food and said the... More

We decided to try PVII, not expecting anything amazing. Needless to say, we were pleasantly surprised. The service was good and the food was fantastic! I ordered the salmon - rather nervously , I must admit. I'd ordered menu items other than pasta at Italian places before - only to be very sorry. Not so here. Some of the best... More

I suggested PV II to our church dining club expecting the same experience when it was Ponte Veechio in Sheridan Village. Everyone wanted an Italian experience. We all gathered which was a group of 8 in a nice dining area, not to busy just a handful of people having a feeling that this was going to be a nice dining... More

Service was very good, attentive, but not overbearing, even though she had a lot of tables. As usual, the meals were all excellent. Yes, it takes a little while, but each tastes like its prepared for you, so enjoy a beverage and conversation, with anticipation of taste bud joy.

Our group of 7 arrived at 11:30, and ordered at 11:45 - right about the time several other groups (4-15 people each) arrived or ordered. Yet we were the last ones served - at 12:30 or 45 minutes (!) after ordering. Got an "I'm sorry" after I questioned why it took so long, and an extra basket of bread to... More

Loved the food here. We ate there a week after vacation in Italy. As good as the food there. Will definitely be going back. Great dining experience--good food and good service...

We dropped in on a Monday night after not having dined here in quite awhile. It was a quiet night and person acting as hostess was a little slow acknowledging us. (Believe she was responding to some seated patrons.) Our server was very prompt, polite and professional. Ordered wine which arrived promptly while we perused the menu. Menu is mostly... More

This was by far one of the best dishes I've ever had. Chicken wrapped in prosciutto and mozzarella then lightly fried. This prosciutto tasted like fried bacon-ham...need I say more. My wife had the Shrimp and Scallops which was also delicious. I haven't had a bad meal here ever. The service is always professional.

We stopped in for lunch on a Thursday. Ordered two $9 pasta items that included the house salad and bread. Both were very good, however, the bolognese was slightly less tasty than I have had at other Italian restaurants. Service was prompt and they had a good amount of customers seated for lunch. Both the salad and bread were freshly... More
