Cranwill's is a trip back to the 1950's when drive-ins were popular. It is as old-fashioned as can be. This isn't a recreation, it's the real deal. Ordering is done through a call box and the food is delivered on a tray that hangs on your partially opened window. The food we ordered was delivered quickly and was very tasty.... More

Call box to place your order and the food brought to your door. The hot dogs along with the awesome root beer makes it a place to visit. Reasonably priced and a place that the kids enjoy too!

I sometimes stop in at Cranwill's root beer stand when I want a quick meal. They have good coney dogs, tamales, onion rings, french fries, and of course, root beer. There is also an assortment of other things on the menu, and you don't have to leave your car (it's a drive-in). The service is good too!

The drive-in used to be an A&W Root Beer stand that the original owners kept and do their own food and homemade root beer when A&W left. They have great root beer available in paper cups or frosted glass mugs. There are numerous food choices-favorites of ours is tenderloins, coney dogs, and chill dogs.....but many other choices. It is an... More

If you don't hit up this drive in frequently, you are just insane. This classic has amazing root beer in big glass mugs (and take a gallon home!)....And I have yet to find something on the menu I don't like. Seriously. Screw the diet. Wear yoga pants ladies....life is too short to not enjoy this place! (If only Burger Express... More

This place has been a family favorite for many years. We enjoy going inside and sitting at the counter to eat (free root beer refills!). You get friendly service and the food is fast, hot and scrumptious! My favorite meal is the bacon cheeseburger basket, with fries and coleslaw on the side. I am not a coleslaw fan by nature,... If you want a traditional Coney Dog, this is the place. Root beer is root beer but a Coney Dog is a different story! This is also a traditional drive in root beer stand which you can't find almost hardly...truly a dying breed.

We went there when I was a child and it was the old A&W. As far as the set-up, not much has changed. You can still sit outside in your car and order thru the box or sit inside at stools while watching the kids working. The root beer is still good and served in cold glasses, not frosted but... More

Cranwill's is a good old fashioned root beer stand that was formerly an A & W. The food, service and root beer is still great. I wish they still used the better grade of hot dog and had a better location.
