Well, this place has a good reputation, but I think that's all. The culture of the service, you could tell, is just not good, from the host that just gives you a menu and shows you were to sit, to the grumpy bus boy, to the inattentive wait staff. I'm reviewing this by breakfast standards too, which, for me, are... More
If you go there, look up at the ceiling, watch out for the dripping water, through the filth. sent the fork back because it was dirty, then sent the food back, hair and all.
We found the staff to be very rude. The host was very condescending, the waitress was almost to the point of being rude. We told her that we needed new coffee as the cream was bad and her response was "did you mix it'? When she came back with new cream and coffee there was a very small amount of... More
We went with a party of 12 which is a lot for a restaurant to cope with when no reservation has been made. They could not have been more helpful despite being so busy. We were seated quickly and efficiently and the server was really great. The food was tremendous. Certainly no skimping on the portions - most of our... More
Usually have a good experience & great food. This is a reason we keep coming back. This time I was so surprised when the server started "schooling" me. I ordered the corn beef hash. Yes, again. If you have read some of my other reviews you will see it's a staple for me. Another staple is that I ALWAYS, without... More
Went on a Sunday morning, bought a groupon as usual... Made you feel at home, food was GREAT(try a skillet they're huge) the service was very good, and the prices can't be beat... Must Try you'll be back...
Making breakfast doesn’t require a celebrity chef, so why did simple breakfast orders turn out so unsatisfying? That was a question I had to ask myself after leaving the Original Pancake House in Park Ridge. Let me begin by saying the place was packed, so they must be doing something right. We were greeted at the front door by a... More
One of our favorite breakfast places. We probably go around once a month. Everything I have ever tried here is great. It is a cozy restaurant with a large menu. Only open for breakfast and lunch and the line can get long, so be prepared to wait.
Worse place ever to eat and to be serviced. The least some waitress should do is welcome you in and greet you with their name and give you some time to look at the menu. At this place neither of the minimum was offered; 4 different weird waitresses kept bugging us with "are u ready to order?" The orange juice... More
