Wonderful menu and tasty dishes

I always enjoy finding a good Chinese restaurant and upon visiting my mom one day, we decided to try Mo's. We had heard from several different people that the food was good. Instead of ordering out we decided to go inside and have lunch. We both loved the variety of offerings on their menu. We ordered a veggie egg roll, some crab ran-goon, shrimp pad tai, and beef chop suey. We knew we would have leftovers but that's always a plus for us. Everything we had was delicious and the prices were very reasonable as well. The servings are quite generous so if you are looking to feed a large group, they give you plenty to share. I really liked this place despite the fact that the service was just okay. Maybe it was a language barrier that prevented our server from communicating with us but no matter, he seemed friendly and the food was wonderful. My advice- Give it a try.

Celebrating The Chinese New Year

We decided to join in on the celebration of the Chinese New Year by getting an order to go from Mo's Chinese Kitchen. This was the first time we were eating from here so of course we were anxious to try the dishes we decided on. I had the thai vegetables with red curry and tofu and my partner had the beef chop suey and we also ordered a couple of veggie egg rolls. Overall it was okay. The texture of the tofu was a bit soft for my liking and the dish lacked some flavor as well. The beef chop suey was also just okay as were the egg rolls. Should you be traveling in the area and in the mood for Chinese cuisine check this location out. Safe travels to all!

Good Mongolian Beef, slightly sweet. Good appetizers. This is the first time I've had Mo's, here visiting family. I'd like to get this again.

We ordered pickup for dinner yesterday for three adults so we ordered large orders of beef chop suet, egg foo yung, fried rice. The total was $38.00. The prices, based on the most current menu we had and ordered from within the last six months, had gone up between 50% and 60%. The food is good but we got sticker shock. I don't know if we will order from them again at those prices.

Very good food, and an outstanding My-Tia ! It can be hard to find a good Chinese food that serves good drinks, but Mo's has both. Can be very busy, but worth the wait!

got carryout here .food was spicy tuna roll and vegetable fried rice. very good...good phone service...made order special with siracha sauce on tuna roll and no carrots in fried rice...very good.done correctly.

okay food, lacking customer service training

I was looking for a restaurant that I can use to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday and this restaurant pop out in my search, so decided to try their food. Walking inside, first thing i saw was the sign that it says wait to be seated, looking at my left, there was a lady sitting in front of the cashier register and on the phone. She saw us but kept on talking on a phone, we waited for a few mins in front for someone to help us or acknowledge us at least but no one did, even the waiter serving food saw us but didnt say anything. Finally, while the lady still on the phone, she told us we can sit anywhere. So we sat ourselves in, the lady that was on the phone came in and brought us the menu then walked off not saying anything. The waiter the we saw serving food brought us water and walked off without saying anything. Few mins later the waiter came back and asking if we are ready to order. This is our first time here but I would at least expect the waiter to say something about their menu, any lunch specials or something. In any case, we figured it out. The restaurant is small and not quite what i was looking for to hold a party but I wouldn't do it there anyway because of lack of customer service. I read it here also that there was a complain about it but I rather give it a benefit of doubt. I'm Asian and love Asian food but this food, although a good price for lunch, is mediocre at best. Overall, I rather go somewhere else and there are so many Asian restaurant around the area that offers lunch special as well with good customer service.

Great lunch specials

Delicious food and reasonable prices. They do not charge extra for a pot of hot tea. Lunch specials include cup of soup and egg roll. Servings are generous.

The best chinese restaurant!

Mo's on 159th is a great choice for Chinese! Whether you take out or dine in, you will not be disappointed. The food is the best in the local area and the prices are reasonable. Sushi is amazing too!

Owner is a jerk

Stay away from this restaurant. The owner and her employees are not customer service trained. There was mistake on my order, and the owner preferred to argue rather than resolve the issue. Claimed “ I have been open for 12 years and never had an issue.” Many better Chinese restaurants on the south side than this one

Big Portions

Not only large portions, but tasty entrees. First time here and short wait for a booth. Very busy on Saturday night, but our order came quickly. Good soup to start both Wonton & Egg drop. Free Crab Rangoon via Facebook was a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed the Sichuan Chicken, which I could barely finish. My wife loved the sweet & sour shrimp and took half of this huge portion home . Quick and friendly service added to our experience. Recommend

Will return for a lunch special

We been looking for a new place for Chinese food since our favorite places were both sold. We were very happy with our lunch today. Good selection, everything was being made fresh. We didn't have sushi but could see the chef preparing orders. Food prices were good as was the food. Will return another day for one of the lunch specials. Some people commented on the service. Yes the place was not that busy, but the server was nice and answred any questions. Do not hesitate to try eating here. Check Groupon for specials or see if they have a facebook check in special. For those who use restaraunt.com they have a sign saying they don't take their gift certificates anymore. Only mention it as the people behind us were alittle disappointed when they saw the sign on the door.

We Will Be Back

Very tasty! We have eaten at Mo’s 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Every thing we have tried from the sushi to noodle dishes to classic Chinese entrees have all been delicious. Restaurant is clean, staff is attentive and the portions are generous.
