The hospitality we received at the foxes bistro was first class, some of our party arrived very late but the staff were so accommodating, food arrived promptly and we received two bottles of prosecco with our picnic bench between eight of us. There was so much food that we had to box some up to take home. I especially enjoyed... More

I booked here for my mum's birthday and pre-ordered the picnic benches which you have to pay a deposit for, £5 per person I think, which I did not mind at all. Booked for 5 people. There is no car park just on street parking which was busy but we did not struggle for a space. We were seated downstairs... More

We booked a dairy free picnic table. After being kept waiting for an hour, the food arrived. There was no obvious cream or cheese. A friend recommended the afternoon tea at the Fox, and we visited today. We were early which was not a problem, cannot fault the surroundings, the service, staff or the food. It was a thoroughly enjoyable meal, and I will be going back soon with more friends. Excellent.

Absolutely loved the afternoon here. Myself, my step-mum and Grandma came here on a Sunday for a "Best of British" themed afternoon tea, the food was gorgeous, great atmosphere and lovely staff. Reasonably priced considering the location. The afternoon tea was very well presented (as shown from the picture attached) and was the sweetest thing with mini-snacks, picnic bench, buckets... More

Visited here today with a group of friends. There were 6 of us and we were celebrating my friends baby shower. We had the picnic table lunch. From start to finish service was brilliant even though it was very busy. The food came out pretty fast and each picnic bench served 3 people. There was so much food, it's was... More

Took my daughter for a picnic bench lunch for her 13th birthday. Lovely food set out beautifully and the staff were fantastic, made a real fuss of her. Also, wheelchair accessible and good wc facilities. Will definitely be back
