Located within the hotel, but the restaurant is open to the public. Popular for their fried chicken which was very good. Everything we tried was good. Open for Breakfast too!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! It's always a pleasant experience. Breakfast buffet has many options. LOVE the bacon!! The staff is very friendly and always goes above and beyond regardless of what time of the day you visit.
Can’t say enough good things about this place. Was it a 5 star uppity snooty place...no... it was exactly what it’s supposed to be...a quaint older hotel with a wonderful staff, very clean rooms , an excellent restaurant and phenomenal mineral water spa and massages.
This is a review for the Boiler Room restaurant attached to the Original Springs Hotel, which I reviewed separately. The restaurant cooks made-to-order food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My husband enjoyed the seafood platter, which was fried fish of different types, and I ordered...the lasagna. The lasagna had big chunks of tomatoes, which I loved, but there was way too much cheese, and the onions were too large and too sweet. I can see where some people might like it, but it wasn’t for me. They are not the fastest place, but most people are at the hotel to relax, so just accept that your meal might take a while. Also, the bartenders are hard working and make great mixed drinks.More
I needed a place to stay for the night and this was the cheapest place within 25 miles and I don't regret my stay. When I got there I was quite surprised by the big porch on both floors. I went into the lobby and...it was like going back in time. The clerk was very nice and gave me a room very close to the lobby. I checked in and went to the room and it was very dated, which I liked for the ambiance. There were pictures of civil war Generals on the walls along with a horse bridal hanging up. I walked around the place and found an indoor pool, and a full service restaurant down stairs The room didn't have a hair drier, but I carry one. I really liked this place and had a good nights sleep.More
My family and I were trying to find a good place to eat lunch on a Sunday. We decided to visit the boiler room. Bad idea! When we arrived, the waitress wasn’t very informed to even seat us. We made a drink choice and was...told she either didn’t know how to make the drink or never heard of our choice( both were in the menu when we received one). We ordered our food including appetizers and received the appetizers very quickly. These appetizers were very tasty! My wife received her order correctly, mine was completely different and my daughter did not receive hers at all. At the end of this experience, we received a bill which we paid, then we were informed that it was the incorrect amount and she needed more money... WITHOUT SEEING A FINISHED COPY! We will never go back...EVER!More
What a pleasant surprise to find a Sunday morning breakfast in a charming historic hotel in small town USA. Ll good and great service.
This place has been around since 1867, so they must be doing things correctly. We have dined here on many occasions. One can dine is a quiet atmosphere. The food is always prepared well. Nothing is ever rushed. It is just a great place to...dine.More
No one would suspect that just off Interstate 64 is this historic gem. We stopped here for dinner. The hotel is a National Register place and is well worth the visit. We had dinner here in what the hotel calls the Boiler Room. Service was...nice and friendly. It has a charm of yesterday year and even uses white tablecloths and napkins. Our food was made to order and was excellent. Dining is in a quiet and pleasing atmosphere.More
We have eaten here three times with family. The servers are always friendly and accommodating. We've never been unhappy with the food. Fried chicken, strip steak, fried shrimp have all been home cooked good. Good place for casual, laid dining.
