Food good. Bar service good. Little bit noisy at night. Little bit slow in morning. No stairs. Seating not very comfortable for 70 year old, but lots of choices on menu. Decorating style eclectic.

Fresh fish - Fried or grilled - best Lobster roll this side of Maine and Po' Boys(blackened catfish my favorite, wife likes the shrimp) that rival the best of NOLA. Did I forget fresh oysters - usually an assortment available from both coasts ...reasonably priced and some on special during Happy Hour. One of my favorite places to go -... More

They provide a GREAT menu selection highlighting shrimp, crab, and lobster! There's always a special going on for one of the three. When you arrive, they immediately provide you with fresh water and complimentary popcorn. I'm a bisque kinda gal and their lobster bisque is to die for. My daughter prefers New England clam chowder. If you're not a soup... More

The interior is very eclectic and yet cozy. Staff is great. We stopped here for dessert and drinks. Both were yummy.

The Claremont Hotel didn't have lobby coffee so you have to go down the hall to Poor Phil's. It ended up costing $2.50 and it was ok. There are a lot of good coffee shops, so you might as well stick with the room coffee or go to a hipster coffee shop.

Got free popcorn but it was not the seafood place that it was advertised. Most menu options offered only breaded seafood which does not imply fresh seafood, plus the shrimp that we tried in our salad was over cooked and tough. I don't think that the staff know how to cook seafood.

The menu is right, service great, both the inside and outside sitting ambiance is great. I personally love the "Fish and Chips" style fish basket with a nice beer on the tap, sitting outside! The bar atmosphere is also a plus.

My six year old believes they have the greatest grilled cheese sandwich. We, the parents, go for oysters and burgers regularly. Beer selection is quite extensive as well. Great food, great place!

Thank Artur A
