I love the falafal sandwiches and the beef and chicken sandwiches. The food is fresh and handmade to order. Delicious. And a terrific value. The staff is friendly. I love to sit outside on Lake Street weather permitting.

Jerusalem Cafe has delicious food! The menu offers selections for everyone (carnivore, vegetarian, healthy.) There are light options as well as heartier options and everything is flavorful! The Deluxe Falafel sandwich is a personal favorite. Be prepared to wait for your food because it is prepared when you order it. The kitchen is in full view so you can watch... More

Just doing some local holiday shopping with a friend, we decided to stop in for a quick lunch. You can't go wrong with the beef kabob, either in a pita sandwich, or as an entree, which is served with rice, vegetables, hummus, and pita for under $9.00. If you go there Monday-Friday between 11:00 and 2:00, they have a buffet... More

This is a solid Middle Eastern hole in the wall on a nice block in Oak Park. The food was great and the value for the money is excellent. No frills, nothing fancy, great food. If you like Middle Eastern you can definitely not go wrong here.

I have been eating here for about 4 years now. You will not find any better. What you think is better is Lully just greasier - greasy to me is not better, nor is it healthier. I've done the Naf Naf, I've done the Al Bawadi Grill at Harlem and 87th. There is no comparison. The quality of the food... More

I love the authentic tastes they put together here. I have been close to several Middle eastern families and the food is just as good as there home made meals. The staples (Baba Ghannoug & Hummus) are a creamy delight. The Kibbeh is my favorite. I'll order a side even when I get the Combo Feast.

Neat and clean and unpretentious. The food is very, very tasty. I had a chicken shawarma and it was juicy and succulent. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
