always consistent food quality and service. The make your own salad option is a favorite of mine. Sandwiches are also great.

So good on Friday night, we went back Saturday. Fresh rolls (egg and onion) and butter. Day 1: Lox omelet, potato pancake, brisket on roll. Day 2: matzoh ball soup, veggie quesadilla and blintzes. Too much food, all wonderful. And then, there's the deli and bakery. Rugelah, pie, cookies. All good. No, great.

We have been patrons of Max & Benny's Restaurant for more than 25 years -- ever since it opened in Plaza del Prado in Glenview. The food is authentic Chicago-Jewish...tasty and prepared it should be. Never been disappointed!

If you are looking for a typical Deli, Max and Bennies is the place to go. All the Deli items on the menu are very tasty. The Corned Beef is wonderful and plentiful. You have your choice between the regular sandwiches, which are enormous, or a Junior sandwich, if you are not that hungry. My biggest complaint is the Potato... More

Not a NY Deli. But consistently good. Love the Mish Mosh soup. Good corned beef, good baked stuff, good service, roomy, good for families.

max & bennys is a reliably good Jewish deli that reminds you of every other good Jewish deli you went to as a kid. The bread basket a amazing, matzoh ball soup and corned beef sandwiches are delicious and the bakery is filled with yummy homemade treats. When it's cold & you're not feeling well this has to be your... More

Great pastrami on rye. The motza ball soup is delicious. The dumplings are just like grandma used to make. This New York left full and happy.

A must for us every time we are near Northbrook. You could easily eat here everyday for a month and have something different each day. Lox plate is best I have found. What a treat. Great service.

The hot corned beef sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. It was lean and flavorful. The matzo ball soup was good, but not the best we've had. The chopped liver sandwich and potato pancake were very good. The restaurant was incredibly busy and service was poor . . . Food items forgotten, no refill of pop offered.... More

I visit Max and Benny's fairly often and it is a consistent meal. The portions are generous and while I don't think it's the best deli I've ever been to, it's not bad. We've been there for breakfast, lunch and dinner and there are many options on the menu. I would recommend it as a nice, decent meal that isn't... More
