If your willing to wait you'll get the best Italian Food on the North Shore. Get there early and enjoy. It's worth the wait.

First of all the food and service from the waitress was wonderful. However, the hostess (owners daughter Lucy) should be replace. Extremely rude and ignorant. She needs to read the ADA rules and also study what a service dog job can be. When tables are a foot apart and no one around you notices a service dog, there isn't a... More

My wife is Italian and makes homemade dishes and pasta. This is just like hers and her mothers. When they are out of a dish that's it. Get there early. The only bad thing is too few tables but that makes it special. No over produced meals. Love the food! Go on a week day.

We have not revisited Francesco's in quite some time. Our anniversary was the perfect excuse! Unbeknown to us our daughter (in D.C.) called ahead and talked to Lucy and told her to have a double Maker's Mark and Pinot Grigio ready for when we got there. They do not take reservations, so there is alway a wait(well worth it). To... More

Enjoyed a great meal here with a girlfriend. The service was friendly and relaxed. We felt in no rush to order or feel we had outstayed our welcome. Really important when you have a lot of catching up to do! The food was gorgeous but really big portions which they were happy to box up for us. Tables are close... More

We found this place based on a recommendation from our hotel bellhop. He drove us over to the restaurant and seeing it was quite small we were concerned about getting in. The inside is very tight and small. We opted to sit out on the patio and enjoyed the warm air and the Cicada's chirping. The dinner was fabulous, the... More

The food and service was very good. It is small, crowded and noisy but most definitely an old Italian feel. I don't know that I would go again, but did enjoy the experience.

Terrible experience. I think you have to be Italian or part of the "family" to get a seat. We waited one hour to be seated and we were promised a table. Then.... "Friends" came in. We were asked if we would want to eat outside. We said no since we were waiting for the indoor table that we were promised.... More

The restaurant Is small but has great character. Very popular restaurant and they served us drinks while waiting. I am From out of town but I would definitely eat here again if... More

Home made italian cooking. Absolutely great. My mouth waters at the thought of going there. Every dish us excellent followed by excellent service. The only down side is you usually have to wait to get in. Just go and see for yourself!
