We came to Northbrook for an appointment. What a beautiful village!! We needed lunch, so went to trusty Trip Advisor, found this delicious Japanese restaurant. We both ordered the Lunch Box, but 2 different types so could share. For $13 it was more than enough food. It come with miso soup, 2 types of sushi rolls cucumber salad, edamane, and... More

Great fresh raw fish and great Service from a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Thursday's and Friday's can be crowded but I've never had to wait.

I read some of review before going here. I was expecting good fish and not great service. I ordered charishi and I forgot to say no shellfish. It came and I sent it back because it was full of things I could not identify and I said please no shellfish, I can't have shellfish. I should have mentioned I also... More

This is my go to sushi in the city or burbs. It isn't cheap, but it's tasty and super fresh. The only reason I don't give this location 5 stars is because the ambiance is just ok. Order the spicy edamame, spicy tuna deluxe deluxe roll, crouching tuna roll. Any of the rolls on the "specialty" menu are super.

We've been to Kamehachi downtown Northbrook on a half-dozen occasions. We've always enjoyed the meal. Parking is easy on the street. It can be busy on weekend nights.

Kamehachi is located in a cute little square with ice cream stores and some value priced eateries. Service is fast, (My waitress is what moved the needle up to average...) The menu is nothing special and rather pricey. A Dragon roll showed up as five thin wheels of sushi for $10. I had to ask for wasabi and ginger. No... More

Kamehachi is a fan favorite for girls night out or birthday dinners w friends. As a non-sushi eater, I don't complain. Love their beef wrapped asparagus rolls in a sweet sauce, salty edamame and house salad. I've never left there hungry and can still hang with my crowd.

Great Sushi spot in downtown Northbrook. Good service friendly staff and lots of the usual choices. The presentation is very good as are the sushi portions and selection. Free parking nearby. While not cheap, I thought it a good value.
