Given that this is a restaurant in a mall, it fills an interesting space in the area. First, they have a good, full bar, so you don't have to settle for limited beer, wine and spirits menu like a lot of other places. Second, they have an outstanding salad bar, ion that is your thing. The rest of the food... More

We went here with a group of 12, we had reservations and were seated promptly, Menu was big an tried a wide variety of menu items as a group. Everyone said food was pretty average and expected better for the prices charged. Some split meals and proportions were adequate. Service was good and waiter was very thoughtful. probably will try... We stopped by the Northbrook mall to get help from the Apple store for my wife's Ipad. The claim company looked interesting and we were both in the mood for a burger. The place has an old west decor. The waiter took a while getting to us and it took even longer to get the burgers. They were okay but... More

One of those places you go where just about everything on the menu is good . Cozi atmosphere and good service . It's a bit of a southwest flare but not overwhelmingly southwest .

Lunch today. Motherlode burger as tasty as ever. Salad bar plentiful with many options. Surprisingly good mushroom soup. Don't want to go every day, but for once in a while it's defintely a place to return to

The Chicago Claim Company in Northbrook Court was a fabulous restaurant decades ago. In recent years, they have reopened, a shadow of its former self. The menu is similar and the salad bar is still the centerpiece of the restaurant, but it's not the same.

Lots of menu choices. Good burgers and chicken sandwiches. Have a great salad bar that you can get alone or with a meal for only $3.99.

I remember the Chicago Claim Company from the 70s; great burgers and salad bar; cheap. Flash forward 40 years. Similar menu, but it's Northbrook Court shopping mall location adds a certain cache and ups the price point considerably. The food is fresh and portions large and expect a wait at prime dining times. It is also a popular place for... More

We came here for a family dinner after our daughters communion. A reservation is a MUST- we heard people being told they had an hour 1/2 wait but we were seated right away. Casual attire-food was good but not great. My vegan son LOVED the veggie burrito though and I noticed quite a few vegetarian options. Our waitress was fantastic... More
