Don't go a Fri. Sat night unless fighting is your thing. Police are there regularly. Pizza's are not very good, otherwise standard bar fare with nothing outstanding.

Upon arrival to North Chicago, checked into our hotel, Red Carpet Inn (see review). Flannigans was directly across the parking lot. Found it to be surprisingly pleasant. Our server, Brittney, was polite and attentive to our needs. Found the menu had a nice variety of...foods, and not over priced. The food was served exactly as ordered. Would recommend it highly, not a 5 star restaurant, but 5 star service. Would definitely visit again.More

Well, if you're looking for a Cheers kind of place, you will it at Flanagans! Truly we're gonna give this place a 8.5 out of 10. We visited twice and both times were pleased. It's certainly casual and that's okay. Food is good, wings are...hot if you want them that way. Cocktails are good with fair pricing. I could hang here for a few hours, for sure. I also love the "smell of marble foyers" such as those that adorn most Crown and Marriott hotels, so dont judge me. Its a fun place with good food and good vibes. Go!!More

I thought Flannigan’s would have a more Irish flavor to it, but I was wrong. It was pretty eclectic inside. The menu was packed with lots of different dishes. I had the gyro which was ok, but not something I would go back for.

Left a blues club (Rosa's) still hungry. 11pm at night all the pizzerias in the neighborhood closed. I gave up and headed back to my hotel in North Chicago -- a 45-minute drive north. Stopped into Flanagans, which was a block from my hotel. Open...all night. I'd been meaning to eat there since I arrived (a 5-night stay). So I stopped in but they happened to be cleaning the oven at that moment. They are open all night but at that moment I could only order pizza. I ordered pan pie with mushrooms & jalapinos. Was FANTASTIC. WOW. I'm from NYC -- Staten Island and Brooklyn which have hundreds of great pizzerias. The pizza at Flanagans if Fantastic. I'd go back to North Chicago just to eat it again.More

I ate here last night and had a great meal. It is traditional pub food. Our server went above and beyond for us! When we told her that we never had a gyro before she actually asked the chef if we could taste the meat!...If ever in the area again I would go back!More

My wife and I were in a nearby hotel and wanted to eat so we gave Flanagan's a visit. I had the Ruben and it was delicious. I'm glad they put the Russian dressing on the side because I'm not a big fan of it...and forgot to tell them. It came with a healthy side of nice fries and I found out the hard way that it was easier to eat with a knife and fork. My wife wasn't very hungry so she ordered calamari. It was lightly breaded and very good. My draft Lite came in a frosty glass and ice formed in it as it was delivered. The service was fast and friendly and Flanagan's looks like a cool place to party with friends because they have pool tables, darts, video games, and other stuff. The have a smoking patio and there's also a service dog that wanders around. Pretty cool.More

We checked this out since it was close to the Sleep Inn hotel and was in walking distance. The meal was very good and so were the wings. If you like wine, go with the red. White is a bit sweet if you like dry...wines. Waitress was by herself and hustled the entire time. She was constantly checking on all of her customers. I would recommend as a first night's destination if you like pub food.More
