It's not much from the outside, sitting in a strip mall in North Aurora. The inside decor is decidedly casual. However, the food is tasty and brought to your table in a very efficient manner. True vegan options are available, but they will customize apparently...anything on the menu to make it suitable. The food is a little oily, which is hard to avoid when eating out, but hot and delicious. We thought the portions were a little small when they came out, but after the meal, they are actually just right. Well be returning, for sure.More

A very small counter order strip mall place. Tight quarters inside. The outdoor patio seems like it had more room. You can also order drive through. They give you a small chips and salsa first. The chips are very salty and seasoned like Doritos. The...salsa came out hot. very different but tasted very good. Tacos you can order American or Mexican style and they also have specialty and gourmet tacos, tortas, burritos, enchiladas, and fajitas. I went with a shrimp taco that was very good and a grilled steak taco that was fairly good. The 3 shrimp were large and covered with lettuce, pico de gallo, and a slice of avocado all drizzled with a chipolte mayo sauce. Wonderful! The steak was good, not very chewy but not much in the taco. The taste of everything was fresh and good. Looks like they have other locations and hope they are bigger. I will be going and trying other things in the future as the taste is still on my tongue.More

This place is so good! I wish it weren't such a long drive from our home. Their food is so fresh! Great tacos, fajitas, carne asada, etc. They have a salsa bar, which was a nice touch. Casual atmosphere with a drive through. Will definitely...be back.More

We stopped for lunch, and to get a gift card. The lunch part was great. I had the two taco meal, and the tacos were delicious. The rice was good, and the refried beans in the tortilla shell was great. When I asked about a...gift card I was told "go on our website". Okay, would that be the website that's not listed on the receipt? The website online that has no mention of gift cards? Your Facebook page that also doesn't mention gift cards and where you don't respond to messages? I know, I'll just get a gift card from a competitor. So you lost me as a customer, plus the person I'm buying the card for will also be dining elsewhere.More

Fantastic food! Tables in restaurant entirely too close together. They do have two high chairs which I appreciate for my grandchildren. Have gone through the drive through, but live far enough away that it doesn't taste very good by the time we get it home.

So glad to see this place thriving! Its nice to have this option so close to home. I love the taco's and never have had an issue. We usually drive through but sometimes sit inside. Great place!

I dropped into Taco Madre this weekend, I ordered the Aztec Taco (Marinated Shrimp Taco's with Chorizo) they were outstanding. The dinner comes with a side of beans and rice - don't forget the Horchata. The dinner was so good, I visited them again on...Sunday. My second trip I tried the Taco's al pastor - they were fantastic as well. The housemade salsa should not me missed.More
