This little Chinese spot has turned over more times than a Rollie pollie bug! We are generally hesitant to try them as they open but have seen this one do a lot of local delivery so we gave it a shot.
I ordered online which I always like doing, so that was a plus to begin with. We love Hot and Sour soup so we ordered a large of that as well as fried dumplings and two veggie egg rolls.
The web page sent a confirmation to my email and said what time it would be ready. I went to pick it up at the stated time and it was just finished and ready. The young lady reviewed the order and noticed a discrepancy which was rectified immediately and I was on my way.
The Hot and Sour soup was the best we have ever had! Perfect spice/heat and the broth was so tasty. Great veggie, meat, mushroom and tofu combo! The fried dumplings were very tasty as well. The dipping sauce was a bit on the sweet side which I liked but my husband didn't care for, but he likes just soy sauce for dipping. We were full after that so saved the egg rolls for later. Even after reheating them they were still very good. I must say the fortune cookies were nice crisp and quite good and I usually only eat them for the fortune! Lol!
We were pleasantly surprised with this new little place down the street and hope it lasts longer than its predecessors! Can't wait to try a full meal!

It's the chinese delivery/takeout restaurant you expect of the genre, but the service is solid as are the variable offerings - the general's chicken is decent and the rangoon filling is sweet.

A lot of these reviews saying that it's not that good are years ago. Ching's has been my go-to Chinese food since I moved here. Their food has changed over the years, for the better.
The food is fresh, well portioned, well priced, and delicious. I've never gotten a wrong order, and everything I've ever gotten has been delicious. The staff is polite and to the point, and y'all should see the genius movie-theatre-ticket-stand-box-thing they've created at the door in order to do their part as a local business to help protect BloNo from COVID-19.
This place is small, but the food is delicious. Please give it another chance, and tip well if you can. They're a small family business, not a McDonalds, and they're already doing more to protect the community than any multi-million dollar company in town.

My wife was very unimpressed with this place and I felt it was average at best. The food quality was not on par with other takeout Chinese in town. Just order from one of the other places.

Found this place on accident since its in an unassuming location, but based on my personal preference it is the best take out in town. If visiting Normal and want to order Chinese you cannot go wrong with Chings, ive offered it to friends and family during our travels in the area, and they tend to agree. I suggest the Mongolian beef, Schezuan Tofu, and whatever you chose get the crab rangoon.

I'm sorry. I really am. You know I love Chinese food in all its wonderful forms. I ordered chicken on a stick (greasy and overcooked), egg rolls (so mushy and greasy they were inedible) and chicken lo mein (where's the chicken??). I tried to think they were just having a bad day, but I don't think so. I won't be back.
